    people talk about the fight but i also really hate to see tarbosaurus being just a smaller feathered version of jurassic park tyrannosaurus this animal is quite unique even compared to its closest relative trex, first of all there is more evidence for scales than feathers for all derived tyrannosaurids (yutyrannus is older and also is quite distantly related in comparison to other more derived tyrannosaurids, it's a more basal tyrannosaurOID which took a different evolutionary path and also lived in a colder environment too) it did have a narrower snout than tyrannosaurus and we got good material to know this (PIN-551-1 is a very nice preserved skull and the biggest skull we have from tarbosaurus and the difference in shape is quite obvious from the more boxy side view of a tyrannosaurus) although its skull was not as slim as shown many times with no binocular vision at all it was actually quite wide, just not as wide as a tyrannosaurus (and to be honest ALL predatory theropods have binocular vision, just not as good as tyrannosaurus but it still is there as they need to tell the distance of prey from themselves) and tarbosaurus is known for having the tiniest proportionally to the body arms of any tyrannosaurid, even smaller than tyrannosaurus although the main similarity of tarbosaurus and tyrannosaurus is their bulk, even if tarbosaurus is not exactly as bulky as tyrannosaurus its very close to the bulk of less bulky adult tyrannosaurus specimens like amnh5027 for some reason everytime tarbosaurus has such poor depiction in media without all the things that made it special from tyrannosaurus, so at least im glad that prehistoric planet managed to portray it very well

    Deino is too agile with its body here, its like seeing a grown man with sharp claws fighting a plastic weighed crocodile with bird legs while trying to imitate jp3 spino vs trex fight lmfaooo, they are supposed to be portrayed as heavy animals. I also wonder how some people see the deino surviving 2 bites as the only inaccuracy its just so goofy.

    Something tells me that herbivore would've run -- & probably had a speed edge on that hunter. That face-off likely would not have occurred that often. And it certainly wouldn't have lasted that long or dramatically if/when it did occur.

  • @wildlifeisthewealthofnatur5457

    It's inaccurate. Deinocheirus wouldn't risk it's neck by giving a body bump like that. It will threaten with claws first. Neither would Tarbosaurus go on directly like a mindless beast in face to face. If it got slashed by those claws, it will back off and will be thinking if it's really worth the injuries for a meal like this. It would then think of some other way to give a powerful bite. If it still fails, thrn it will go it's way thinking the prey is not worth with all such injuries or if it's a really desperate Tarbosaurus that hasn't eaten anything for long time, only then it would take all the efforts and may get successful in hunting the Deinocheirus. I don't think they were less smarter just because they were prehistoric.

      The behaviors themselves happen in the animal kingdom now, example is tigers and mother sloth bears: ua-cam.com/video/0ggJ627z4jU/v-deo.html The only innacuracy that that i could notice is surviving 2 neck bites which is unlikely, for a sloth bear the loose skin could help shake off the tiger fangs but there's no loose skin here, only bone crushing 6/10 anime fight, could be better

    • @wetube6513

      It would've made far more sense if the tarbosaur ambushed from the foliage instead of naruto running and roaring at their prey from a distance. I've seen SEAGULLS with far better hunting methods than this apex predators tarbosaur shown here.

    • @firegator6853
      @firegator6853 Рік тому

      @@DavidL1986 the weird part is not how the combat is engaged but how the deinocheirus does not notice the tarbosaurus coming, it was a perfectly clear open area such animal would need trees and other dense vegetation to approach from behind so the prey does not spot it too soon...i mean the environment is probably a bit wrong too you see grass on the ground when at the age of the dinosaurs grass did not exist, i think it appeared in the very late cretaceous but it was not common the environment would be occupied by even taller plants and even in plains you might have plants as tall if not taller than a fully grown man at least in some areas
