Possible to run dual monitor pc setup out of a van?
Thank you for your informative video . Our heater is a brand new Webasto 2000 and it kept blowing cold air after 4 attempts of turning it on. Your helpful video suggested making sure our fuel tank is over a 1/4 full so we filled up our fuel tank and on the second attempt the heater worked and we are now getting hot air. Thank you so much ( especially now that the nights are minus 5 degrees Celsius )
I saw this van in your website. I noticed that in some pictures It doesn't have a sink and the little toiler along with some other things that it has in the video. Does the bavy come with the stuff on the video?
The Bivy does not come with a sink or toilet but its always an easy add for us!

In the one of the vans your giving away soon from the omaze charity Could you add a composting toilet and a shower and maybe less counter space because people really need a toilet and a shower inside especially in colder weather etc. Go watch a company call earthcruiser terra NOVA they have a composting toilet and a shower and shower curtain that drops down from the ceiling and the toilet slides in and out and you can do the same for the sprinter van So please offer it as one of the upgrades the winner can get Since their offering upgrades to the van .........

Big Bend National Park in the late winter/early spring would be great in a van.
Could you go over how to check and clear intake and exhaust lines? After eight months of use my van Webasto gas heater won’t light. Customer service was excellent when I spoke with them yesterday, but they are closed on weekends.
You can always remove them from the fuel heater themselves and blow them out with compressed air. Many times, the heater itself needs a rebuild if too much soot is built up.
it is a nice build but what I dont like is that if you are sleeping in a cold weather you are touching window with your feet and head or at least you are pretty close what means you are cold. In my opinion it should not be windows there.
Ya, it's always a give/take situation in a van. In the winter you lose heat, but in the summer you get great ventilation over your head or feet. In the end, those windows are customer choice so we can always leave the windows out!

Unfortunately in small spaces, that's almost always the case.

I guess you could always ask them to put it on the back bumper. In the passenger seat that's an option. jsmh! Personally I would be tickled pink to have a toilet while traveling that is not used by the General Public. Whoever wrote this comment does not realize that there is a silver lining in everything!
Can you plug in a microwave and coffee maker?
It depends on the details of the appliances but typically yes. These builds come with a 3000w inverter which can typically handle the loads of a microwave or coffee maker.
Hey, Im in love with it. I need to get one again a friend of mine shocked me in the head with an AED while I was sleeping in it and I forgot my whole vanlife experience with it.

There is one! Max is standing in front of it during most of the video. It is a Isotherm Cruise 85.
How is it in snow storms?
If you're mindful about how you drive, works just fine. This particular model is built on a 4x4 chassis and has all terrain tires, so it is performs just fine!
What air conditioning system would you place in a van that spent most of it time in the southeast?
Hey Jose, air conditioning is super tricky. If you plan to run it off grid, you need a power source large enough to run it and that is very hard to do via batteries. Running it via ship to shore power is the easier way to go and wont limit you. Either way, we like the DOMETIC COOLAIR 2000 RTX 12V. It is fairly efficient on eco mode.

I really figured for $65,000 you would get more than 200ah, 1000w inverter. 10 gallons of water. VanSmith may be one of the most expensive upfitters out there..... Looks well built but basic.
