Hey brother, was all this worth it? Do you use this a lot and if so, how is it holding up? Is it easy to take on and off when you don’t use it? Looking for some options for dethatching, I have a 48 and 52 inch scag v ride 2.

I do think you want the cotter pin near the big spring on the OTHER side so that the spring and cotter pin do not interfere and hang up.
Just bought a Cheetah 2. So far first impression is its quiet, strong and fast. Super soft ride too.

how scag vs wright mowers?
I was one of the people telling my scag dealer they needed some type of baffle on the front of the deck to keep the dust from kicking up and hitting you right in the face on sidewalks, driveways and bare spots.
If you have a velocity deck you can lower the front baffle down, keep lowering till you happy with it just watch it when you go on your trailer

I want to get rid of my 22 hustler x-one for a cheetah 2 but am wondering if I should get a rear or a side discharge. Just don't want to lose cut quality.

The cheetah has WAY too many sensors and BS. I've had hell with mine. Been in the shop atleast 20 times since buying it new a year ago. Cam position sensor went bad about a month in. Seat sensor, blowing fuses left and right. Some days it doesn't want to start, just spits and sputters. Get a grasshopper if you can.
Just bought a new cheetah 2 and it didn’t come with the seat and also it doesn’t hold 13 gallons. Holds 11 at the most 🤷. Great machine tho!

@MrC9Oh3 u get that with brand new equipment like anything else my bad boy maverick hd was bought new is 22 and had it in the shop a million times sensors fuel pumps fuel gauge fuel hose spindles loose bolts etc lol id take my chances with a scag cheetah 2 anyday lbs

Will the hydro fluid leak from the vented cap if you spend a lot of time on very steep hills?
Thanks for the question, it could, the reason why is the oil is getting hot due the hills and the oil expands and over flows out the tank, probably not an issue besides the mess, check the oil in tank when cold it should just hit the bottom of the metal removal tub in tank.

@@Seth-OPMi just bought the 52” xl on friday. Cant wait for it to get to my dealer! 40 HP vanguard. Gonna put an electric operator controlled discharge blocker on it soon and go so fast this season. I was using a 20 year old residential Husqvarna ez4824 mower for the last 3 years of business.
