this wow server looks really active! whats more active classic or retail wow? also im assuming hardcore is just like the original wow, with traditional grinding right?

The elements have awakened again, which is also shown in the cinematic how the island gets "decloaked" by the last watcher.

I am levelling a warrior at 29 and a warlock at 20. I find Hardcore more interesting and challenging than other ways to play the game. Of course it's more frustrating when you die . Not for the faint hearted ....but if I ever get a character to 60 I will consider it my best WoW achievement .

*Dragonriding IS unlocked in the Waking Shores! (at least it was before the prepatch) Now you automatically learn it at lv10. *Best thing to do while leveling (especially the first time) is focus on the Campaign quests, that have a shield around their ! marker. *You have access to World Quests accountwide if you have a lv70 that already did the campaign (or that got a character boost) *Same with choosing which zone you want to quest in while leveling. *Renown is the new reputation system: instead of neutral->exalted, with higher requirements for higher levels of reputation, you have 20-30 levels (depending on the faction) that will all require the same amount of reputation (2500) and give a reward at every level. Might be unlocking special perks or events for that faction, bonus profession knowledge, pets/mounts/transmog. *Reputation for the main new factions is no longer gotten from kills/tabards, just one time quests and weekly quests/events. *Profession knowledges has a few main sources: one time quests/treasures dependant on the profession, one bonus point for the first time you make/gather a specific item or craft, and some weekly sources with quests and random drops you get while gathering or killing npcs. There's some guides out on WoWhead to track it all, but I wouldn't worry too much since it will not carry over to War Within professions.

Zygor guides are extremely helpful for returning players.

Even if you go engineering you wouldn't be able to use bombs as those all do fire damage. You could obviously still use for training dummies

Oh man, looks like somebody is getting ready for Uldaman.

Since it seems like you won't hit 60 before prepatch, some changes that will affect you next reset (writing as I remember): *You'll be able to level up to 70 in Draenor/WoD, all Timewalking campaigns should work up to lv70. *That includes Dragonflight leveling becoming available for 10-70. *Dragonriding/Skyriding will become available at lv10 and work with pretty much all flying mounts. *A big reduction in the XP requirements for leveling, especially the 60-70 part.
