Good evening, I'm a French photographer and I'm looking for a solution to my problem everywhere, having a school tomorrow to photograph. The CAMERA line on the FJ-X3M has disappeared!!! The equipment is new and yesterday it was there, I entered NIKON (I have a Z6) and this morning when I turned it on, it was back on SONY!!! The update is ok. Sorry for my bad English, thank you.

Excellent video. Everyone whose interested in these lenses is watching any video they can get. Appreciate the 45mm focus.. as im likely to get that one. Also in Amber haha. Beautiful woman and you have great videography skills! I have used a Canon 1 Dx Mark II for all of my Macaw family photos/videos since 2016. But after watching a video by Jan Wegener on the Canon R6 Mark II, I decided to rent one. Absolutely incredible focusing capabilities and produces amazing 4K video. I do not like the smaller body of the R5, R6, and others, but love the large body of the 1Dx series cameras. I ordered a Canon R3 a few days ago, and it will be delivered today! Thank you for this video and for reinforcing my decision to buy the R3! The new R1 will not have any improvements over the R3 for my photo/video use, so no need for me to buy the R1. The larger 1 Dx body size on the R1 would be better than the R3, but not enough to justify the larger price.

Great video mate. Outstanding camera. Focus is so fast even in almost dark scenarios.

The only video I could find about it having a gimbal in it! I definitely think this is the bag I’ll be getting!

I support Cam Mackey's perspective: why would you get an anamorphic lens for a clinically sharp image? You buy a lens for the look. You can just use a native Sony/Cannon lens and crop the top and bottom off. You don't usually buy lenses because they have bad flare. You might pick the Remus over Saturn anamorphic lens because it gives the image a Hollywood look, which is not clinically sharp, it's often soft.

Is the bloom a filter or an effect in post?

is the flash light compatible with trigger FJ-X2M?

Finally, Remus lenses on a Canon system! Are you using Canon's EF-RF adapter to adapt the Remus to your R3?

If the 100mm is blooming too much particularly in hazy situation would a UV filter help?

Did you shim the remus using a 0.1. That helped my overall sharpness

Done a real job with these lenses, and so some real world experience. I have another video coming about these lenses. I have found some strengths and weaknesses in a job application with these lenses to consider, so subscribe so you don't miss that one. ❤

Can you post some footage of the blazar set on the R3 in 6k ?

thank you for the review, but if I could suggest, the brown/orange border on the footage is quite distracting and the video would be more pleasant to observe without it. Cheers!

Hi Wayno, thanks for showing the lenses. Which flare color are your lenses? I thought the options are blue and amber but your flares are looking white.

Did you shim your lenses? The 100mm looks almost too soft in this test

In all honesty, the 100mm needs to be stopped down to T4 for most applications. I’ve done some preliminary testing with mine also, and it’s not the sharpest lens. At T4-5.6 it sharpens up considerably. Overall, the Blazar Remus lenses are a tremendous value. I thoroughly love my set.

Congratulation on the new lenses. Mine came in a few days ago. I’ve only played with the 65mm. Which didn’t look bad at all. I’m planning to test out the other two this weekend.

Greetings, may I know what is the maximum export resolution for reframe video of insta360 1Inch edition? Even though the company claimed it could shoot up to 6k but i have seen some consumers claimed that after reframe in the insta360 studio, you can only export up to 1080 resolution. is it true?

My iPhone overheats and the screen goes black, even indoors, so why pick on this camera?

I appreciate your review of the software. I must add that there are others who's opinion is that the software is one of the primary core benefits of the camera, so, for the audience, I would take opinions with a grain of salt and make your own conclusions.

Hi, many thanks for your geed back. A year ago, I've sold my One X2 because of its poor image quality. Looking at different video, I had the impression that the improbement was only marginal... Now I'm thinkinh of the One Inch GoPro, for which ND Filters van be added. I don't know their App, but the only poiny I don't agree with you is for Insta Studio : I'vevappreciated it very much.

8 bit 6k over the 360 sphere and 16 hz audio relegate this unit to hobbyist level. I expected more performance, it is okay but expect to toss much of the work.

Who told you this camera was for pro shooting? I guess you love the GoPro...

I have watched about a dozen of these critiques on the Insta360 cameras and honestly I think the camera in my phone shoots better footage than the new one RS.

Thanks for reviewing the flash (& transmitter). I have the Godox & suspected the Westcott might be more intuitive. Profoto looks good, but $$$. Good info!

I own two Ronin gimbals: an RSC 2 and the RS 3 pro. I use a Blackmagic Pocket 6K pro and a G2. I was able to balance the 6K pro (with focus motors, matte box and the like) on the RSC 2 with the help of some home made counter-weights. Getting the roll axis to stick is a lot easier than the RS 3. I usually received "excellent" balance via the app test. I bought the G2 for the RSC because it's 8oz (227g) lighter and it's easier to balance. The RS 3 does require some extra balancing between tilt and center of gravity, the "back and forth," if you will. Yet, here's the good news, the motors on the RS 3 are a lot more beefy and far more forgiving. I stopped balancing for the roll stick after a lot of frustration and discovering the RS 3 is way more forgiving. I always seem to get the green balance indicator and I don't feel any jitter or grind when I push the gimbal to the extremes!! I do agree, I wish the RS 3 had adjustment knobs on the roll axis and center of gravity.
