Thanks for this video, I have a mixed nephew who unfortunately has a neglectful mom but fortunately his sister's mom steps up and does his hair majority of the time but when she's not available I try to do my best in maintaining his hair.

Plz help me I have been trying my best for my son but I can not get my comb coils/ starter dreads to g Ed t close to the scalp I’ve done 50 so far and they look 10 years old just as soon as I’ve done them. Someone help me plz. I have two daughters and while I can braid natural hair only my oldest girl is 13 and wants box braids which I pay 200 for already every 2 1/2 months and my youngest daughter is nine and also love the extra length weave gives her mainly because while her hair is long she chews it for comfort so it’s safer for her her hair to have weave which I can’t put in do I end up paying anywhere fro 75- 150 every two weeks for her hair now my 14 year old son wants locks and I can’t afford to pay for what I consider optional hair but because he wants his hair I wanna do it myself cause I’m a divorced 29 year old mother of four kids.
