I Remember construdin the the airfix model E Boat Back in the seventies Back then the air fix model kit's were I lot more cheaper to by Back than than wat they are now. for instance the the tamiya Harley Davidson is £300 in the seventies the same construction kit would be a lot more cheaper and that one example

Hi, what an absolutely super build! I’m preparing to start a 1/24 version to be built as HMS Brave Borderer and have so many questions! For now, at 1:52 you show the torpedo warhead colour choice as being between alcalad brass and red. I’ve seen these on models painted various shades of yellow, orange and red, most of which I think look awful. But that brass looks stunning! The complication is that while there are plentiful black & white photos online, there are few colour ones, only a few British Pathé colour newsreels. How did you determine what was authentic for the original?

My God I constructed this boat over 40 years ago !!! It looked nowhere near as good as yours, but your video has brought back some fond memories. Great work !!!

Thanks for sharing this video as my late father served on these boats for his national service in the mid 60's he was stationed in Gibraltar and then in Cornwall. His boat number was 2554 fitted with 2 possibly 3 arrow head perking engines .

For Christ sake untangle that ensign ,especially an official one ,nothing looks worse. That flag represents an official organisation . Do it justice.
