PLAYING THE BASS: DAY 1 VS 5 MONTHS LATER
The first video was me in September 2023, my 1st week of ever playing a bass guitar in my life. Just look at the raw and unfiltered reality of my first week with the instrument. There are a number of mistakes including awkward hand positions, poor fretting technique and even poor sitting posture.
The second video is me in Feb 2024, having put in consistent practice of 2-4 hours every week since then. You can see (and hear) a lot more complexity, improved precision, smoother transitions between frets and much greater finger dexterity. All of which I'm doing almost effortlessly.
This is more than just a showcase of skill-it's a testament to the power of dedication, practice, and perseverance. With good consistency and passion, anything is possible!
