What is the range/speed with standard tanks? Cheers
Standard tanks contain 2600 liters. @9 knots consumption is 18l/h. So around 1300Nm.

Hi Ron, Thanks for the nice remarks. At this time we are building a version of this boat with enlarged tanks. The owner wants to cross from the UK via the Azores to Bermuda and on to Florida. Starting price around €780.000, depending on options.

At this time we are building a version of this boat with enlarged tanks. The owner wants to cross from the Azores to Bermuda, about 2000Nm. So yes, this Korvet kan make it acros the Atlantic to the USA. The northerly route over Iceland an Nova Scotia is even shorter. New Favorite
Korvet 14 is a much better looking boat. It's well balanced, and has a pleasing 'just right' look. This one doesn't. Maybe a little too much stretching.
The Korvet18LowRider is hybrid version of the standard Korvet18LR. This boat was adjusted to meet the specific requirements of the onwer of which the most significant was an air draft of only 350cm. See our website for the sketches of the standrad Korvet18LR.
I love this design. It looks like it should do well in our waters of Canada's west coast, which have a lot of debris in it from logging operations. How thick is the aluminum hull? Is it available with different engines? Steyr Motors are not well known in N. America.

Thanks for your comment Joseph. With 2/3 of the country under sea level we have always had a focus on shipbuilding in this country. Our choice of building material is mainly for steel and aluminium - rather than often used fiberglass - because of strength and durability.
Great yacht! But is it true that one room is not shown in the video, the room behind the engine room? Could you tell what's in that room and do you also have video/pictures of it.
