So I actually have a coaster account and I would love to interview Dustin. How did you guys contact him?
i think the other guy who played the phantom was way better
The entire cast of the Phantom Theater Encore show was AWESOME BEYOND WORDS. Absolutely LOVED the show and the entire cast. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!
I saw this for the second time yesterday. LOVED IT AGAIN!! No Legs Larry and his human was hysterical!! Loved the Union slams!! Too funny!! Plus the performance by Willard and Boris!! That man has some serious strong physical attributes to do what he does!! An ABSOLUTELY very great show. Kings Island is the BEST, as was this entire cast of the Phantom Theater Encore!! Thank you, Maestro for your terrific work!!!
I don’t why Mackeel did it, but they oddly go really hard on ending of there version of Drunken Sailor for no reason: ua-cam.com/video/8cTAcGY-ot0/v-deo.html
Just saw this today. Very fun, always enjoyed theatres like this.
Awesome! Check out our interview with Dustin Farris who plays “The Maestro” in the Phantom Theater show. Episode 11 - All The World’s a Stage: with Special Guest, Dustin Farris ua-cam.com/video/97sJKTlNMFw/v-deo.html
Such an inspiring story!
Gotta love the union busting rhetoric 🤮 🤮 🤮. Talk about indoctrinating kids that unions are bad
I just listened to episode 10 and I guess this could link a bit into the Teen Hangouts topic too. So through my entire school days basically I was in Cub/Boy Scouts. I think I was just aging out in 2018 when our "Girls Troop" was established. In leadership from 10-12th, 3/4 of my Wednesday's were taking up by meetings and hypothetically the 4th should be taken by the patrol for their own separate meeting, but my troop was lax yet active: Trips every month, we have our own facilities (and its probably the only place where Jews-I think we gave some land to the rabbi, Christians-who allow us to use their lot for the June Court of Honor, and Muslims have facilities in the same block plus another house and I think they were some artisan or something IDK). I did play Baseball and soccer in elementary school, but moved on to Choir exclusively from 5-10 (after doing it alongside Orchestra in 3rd and Band in 4th). I did the school news my senior year (and technically final month of 11th because Seniors go on a month long internship before graduation about 2wks before the end of the year). Oddly, from starting to work at Cedar Point last summer, I got more interested in the transit space since Sandusky has its own bus system (I never used the ferry network but its there) and I took Amtrak back to Philly (train was an hour late in the middle of the night, just meant shorter layover in Pitt). I am fairly used to SEPTA Regional rail and the New Jersey busses, but I loved the Madrid Metro. The only time I used a Madrid network bus was from Pinto station to Parque Warner-even though there is a station just rotting there in the parking lot. I'm 22 so the walk to Faunia from its closest station isn't half bad although it looks somewhere behind the Iron Curtain before dumping you in the countryside. I did use bus and other transit in other cities (one seat bus ride to the park in Zaragoza from the train station, that slaps although the line terminates at a graveyard in the off season). I kind of wish an FEC like Scene 75 replaced the JCPenny in the King of Prussia Mall-there is Dave and Busters in Plymouth Meeting and some of single mom's in the troop, my dad, and us Scouts went there a few times. Still don't drive-Sesame Place is the only park under an hour and that's still up the Turnpike. If Willow Grove Park wasn't a mall today, I think my life would be very different.
Awesome! Thanks so much for sharing!
My favorite hobbies are making music, skateboarding, and being a dad doing dad things lol
So awesome!!!
They did such a great job making this ride come to life as a play. 👍🏻😊
Nice job
So cool to hear you reference New Waves (the recording booth) that came to the coney mall in 85
The blue ice cream didn't come from the smurfs? Interesting, I read in the Cincinnati Enquirer that it was a tie-in with the Smurfs Enchanted Voyage ride in 1982
This is so cool
Saw the show June 12. The tap number was so much better than it had any right to be, I was so pleasantly surprised. Really solid show all around and exceeded all of my expectations
I agree. It’s fantastic! - Joe
This is just a random question, but do any of you guys know the cast members names?
We do not. I did a quick search, and could not locate the director, or cast names. - Joe
@@insideamusements oh okay, i found one of their instagrams, but i really liked their show and i wanted to see if they like posted anything about more shows they do.
Definitely doing coasterstock 2023
Great video! Thank you for uploading the show! Can't wait to see it next time I go! =)
I don't want to spoil it for myself and watch the video, BUT, can anyone tell me if they use any theatrical strobe light effects during the show? I'd love to see the show when I visit, but I have severe photosensitivity to rapidly flashing strobes.
There are lightning effects strobes.
@@insideamusements Thanks for the information. I might be able to handle it, but will probably play it safe.
I am an usher / escort for the show. I’ve seen it many times and there’s really no strobe effects. I’ve no complaints from any of our guests. I’d say you are ok to see the show.
@@RantzGhoul Thanks so much for that information! Good to know, there aren’t complaints!
The strobe effects I was referring to were not intense, and very brief.
Outstanding! I see a Golden Ticket for 2022!
Great channel! I look forward to more KI content. Thanks!
I just watch this 2 days ago, but I never did the old ride, so I didn't understand the characters very well
Here’s a POV of the original ride. ua-cam.com/video/YcPAC0-JehI/v-deo.html
@@insideamusements thank you, now I kind of understand the show better, thanks.
This show is so cute
It’s corny but that’s the charm
The show stacked ham and cheese to the ceiling, I love it.
I love the Boo Blasters slander in this 😂
Long Live Phantom Theater!
@@insideamusements you can have your phone call anytime after I hear
I saw the 130 show today June 4th and man they knocked it out of the park I loved it!!!
I did too, It was heart-warming and amazing
Such a classic!
Now all we need is a knotts beary tales return to the farm but with phantom theater 😃
Sadly that is probably what we would get if the ride did return. Would rather have something more reminiscent of the original with a standard dark ride with animatronics and effects but don't see that happening. Ideal would be to add a new dark ride building for this return in a similar style to the original and redo Boo Blasters to an interactive Peanuts dark ride. Then we can have both an interactive and a standard dark ride.
@@joshberninger8355 Yes. Excellent. Exactly what they should do. “Action Zone” should be given a complete Haunted Village overlay with the new dark ride. They already have The Bat and Banshee in that area.
I think kings island found a hit good show!
Now hopefully they bring back the real deal!
I agree! This show moved me to tears thinking about the ride and my mom riding with me as she is no longer alive. I think she would have loved this as well
I saw the first showing, it was amazing
Glad another dark ride has been resurrected in another form!! I remember there being a major Phantom Theater fan who loved the original ride. I wonder if she is aware! Forgot her UA-cam handle.
We here at IA also LOVE and MISS that attraction!
I remember that chick on youtube lol... I dunno if she knows or not, but I bet she'd be excited.
There's a huge vacant space in my "home mall" that was home to a JCPenny. It would be cool if something like Scene 75 could fill in the space. I think that putting rides in their might lessen the threat to the Dave & Busters and Legoland Discovery Center in Plymouth Meeting
That would be really cool!
I went through at least 2 Wii's as the first one was destroyed after the surge protector fried. I got the WiiU too, but stopped playing it after Lego Dimensions ended and I think my dad sold it or something-I'm a PC person, although I do play Mini Motorways and Mini Metro on my phone
Jedi Luke - best vintage Kenner SW figure! Great choice.
Great episode! Always love watching when these come out!
Thanks for watching!
Green Acres was my favorite too. I stepped on a snake accidentally once there. The creek walks were awesome. A staple of our elementary school hahaha.
very splendid recording,catch you later.guy-🖐
Thank you!
LOVE the Flight of Fear score/theming...so very "X-Files" 90's campiness. Great show!
Thank you! Yeah that Flight of Fear music is so nostalgic!
How could you leave out the fan favorite Daddy Pig Roller Coaster at Peppa Pig Theme Park? ... kidding of course. Cool hearing your thoughts on new coasters!
Great episode and channel! High quality and long form KI discussion...awesome. Looking forward to more content!
Great episode. Love the reminiscing!
Turbine was fully enclosed, got LSM's, and renamed Psyhe Underground-I think that was the beginning of the current Walibi projects
I also really like Wicked Twister, I only ever got to ride it in its final season when I worked at the park. My final ride on National Roller Coaster Day, the rain had just tapered off and I thought my final ride in the front was better than my back row ride on Gatekeeper ride night (when I first rode Gatekeeper because of the chain lift issue). I would rank Stunt Fall over the impulse coasters, but I don’t think Possessed had the hold brake in 2014 so Steel Venom might close the gap but I have a better feeling for Stunt Fall after 1 day vs WT & Possessed
Being a Philly native, I consider Sesame Place/Dorney/Great Adv my home parks. I’m currently studying abroad in Madrid so Parque Warner and Parque de Attractiones are my current home parks, there’s another Parque de Attractiones about 90mins NE on Renfe (Spain’s Amtrak) which is home to Ramses-hope to check that out before the end of the month
I spent the weekend in Barcelona, about 3hrs on Renfe and got 4 rides on Montanya Rusa. It was a work out but I was in a lot better mood than I was going to the Madrid park’s opening weekend, but they still had more drawbacks than Tibidabo (only bad thing about Tibidabo is that they still do VR on their powered coaster-but I hadn’t done a VR coaster and I hit a tree whilst doing it so that’s wild)
Good show.
Thanks Kyle
