Every Wednesday Ox and Marko are bang up for solving the worlds problems, and usually end up creating new ones.

We kick off the pod with Olympics chat, how great was it! Marko doesn't understand something about the cycling, we discuss. Leads to a chat about aerodynamics. Who'd have thought.
Raygun. We discuss. Ouch. Ox watched her try-out for the Olympics and describes her as being like under 14's vs an AFL team. She was awful, and Ox believes she should be fined. Ox and Marko watched the closing ceremony and loved it, Marko felt the Olympics were very phallic. He explains.
Ox was at a 50th at the weekend, and got home in time to watch the water polo. He noticed something about he commentary which he thought was bizarre. We discuss some of the commentators at the games. Ox and Marko chat about the gymnastics and how on earth the athletes do what they do, and the diving as well.
And after the break......Ox rolls out a very ordinary fact that he pretends is a stat. He's incorrect. At this point he is clearly ripping the piss.
And then..... The Ox fires tip. He is angry about how his beloved Demons have performed and calls for a review into Simon Goodwin and the entire coaching department. He says that the administration have also leet the fans down and it has been another wasted year. He questions the handling of Angus Brayshaw, Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.
After The Ox finished ripping the Demons a new one, we chat to one of his mates Waz who tells us a couple of stories about the big fella.
We discuss Eftpos charges. Rivetting.

Interesting about Duck Spring Rolls in 3's! Ox, we teed off at 0800 at Hamilton Island 3 days in a row. The drinks cart starts at 1000 and will only go 1 to 18 in that order even though players who go early are thirsty as f*** by then (we were on 12 by then). We finished before the cart made it to us each day and it was scorching hot. We tried explaining the logic of meeting the guys who need them most and there was no way they would oblige.....they just kept trying to sell beer to guys on 1 who hadn't even hit a ball yet...
Schwartz is an absolute cripple. Couldn’t back a winner to save himself, then becomes a reformed gambler, and goes on TV programmes telling everyone he was reformed, meanwhile he was still betting with plenty of bookmakers and betting shops. The guy is a liar and a loser.

What an appalling comment. The Ox was referring to Craig's actions in a specific scenario on the footy field. And yes, he had his challenges with gambling, which he has owned, has been clean now for 20-years, and now works in the field of addiction helping others with their challenges. If you want to throw comments like that from the sidelines, then knock yourself out. Just know that a comment like the one you've made says nothing about The Ox, but speaks volumes about you.

Grinter eventually got his comeuppance in Tasmania. Got ironed out in a TFL game with the biggest hip and shoulder by Glenorchy's Robert "Googsy" Gourlay at North Hobart in a final. Grinter was then playing coach of New Norfolk.
I like this lawn as much as i like porn. Not, that is. Lawns are just ecological deserts. Great space to plant some local flowering plants though. Looks good, and has a more positive ecological impact than a lawn. Also: shaming your neighbour into submission just sounds wrong on so many levels.

I felt like sharing this different point of view, too bad i got shamed for it. But yeah, i kinda saw that coming as soon as i hit send. Personally i'm not a lawn person but everybody who is can be proud if they did this level of upkeep. You did a good job. It's tight and green and i don't see any dandylions or daisies. Gotta give you kudos for that. It takes quite a lot of effort and resourses to maintain a 'golf tee' lawn.
