Firstly, I am a fictional author & I write different genres BUT my main genre is Erotic-Comedy (i.e. funny Erotica) & I do write non-erotica too. Secondly, at this present time I am in the middle of writing my 3rd French-Spy novel (both in English/French). Thirdly, I want to use TikTok ONLY for showcasing my fiction i.e. just use BookTok....is that possible? Because I don't use Social Media excessively.

Hi Shelby. I saw you on UA-cam and started following you but can’t find you on TikTok. I’m an author now have 3 published books. I’m reaching out to see if you could help me. I’ve been trying for 3 weeks to set up my seller account to sell my books. When I send bank statement for address verification it gets rejected. Their reason is either can’t read or looks altered or doesn’t meet requirements. I have resubmitted my application so many times n I’ve even sent a PDF in JPEG format and still rejected. Someone told me my PDF needs to be 5MB and I can’t figure out how to resize what I’ve got. When I resize with adobe they say it looks altered. I used photos n actual digital files of a bank statement and nothing works.

One is a menopause journal, one is a children's bedtime story, and one is a coloring book. I started a TikTok account to market my menopause journal and began growing a very small following. But now I really want to focus on my other books, and I don't know if I should start new accounts since my 3 books are all from different niches? I'm feeling overwhelmed and so I'm not doing anything! Please help!

Thanks for your straightforward intro. Can you shed a little light on whether we should have a separate device dedicated to TT, and not used for any other purpose? I have seen this idea pushed hard elsewhere, and I find it dismaying as I have only just stumped out for an upgrade from my dodgy old Galaxy S9 to a S24. The thought of buying another high end mobile just for TT is way beyond my budget. The other issue is that I must use a VPN and a US Sim (I'm based in Europe) in order to reach a US audience, otherwise TT will reduce my reach to the country I live in. Any thoughts on that?

Hi Shelby, Thank you for your Videos. I bought your 'BookTok blueprint' and 'Accelerate your Author Instagram.' I took a step of faith and started a new TikTok account because my old account had more than 1,000 followers, but l was attracting the wrong crowd if you get what l mean. The new one is building up slowly, and l am pleased and surprised. Now my question is, l have coloring/activity books and guided and grief-guided journals. Can I use the same account for these to grow my community even though they are not the same genre? Thank you.

Speaking goals into existence: I would really love to have opportunities to speak at events, conferences, on a podcast, etc. on topics anywhere from social work, to writing/poetry and how it can be healing in working through trauma and mental health challenges. Love the journal!
