Hi all that read this. Thanks for your time. I appreciate you. I just wanted a medium to share Locksport and some other things. It has been a blast to learn, and show progress. Today we have a Kaba Titan with 18 pins in 3 rows. Left side has 7, Right side has 8 and the top row had 3. Looks like with top row fully pinned it could be a 22 pin lock, (7L,7T,8R). All elements are really tapered. As with most 3 row HPC the top is cramped and difficult. Thanks to BurnB1 for loaning me the lock. Today we have a Kaken Kx3. This lock came to me not working. So I fixed it and here we are. This has 3 standard pins in the top middle row. The left side is 4 sliders with no false gates and a sidebar. The right side is 4 wafers. So a fun mix of elements to pick. Each one having it's own feedback. Today we have a Miwa Ur. This was a very similar experience to a miwa U9. Keyway was a bit different and lever layout was not random. The Ur has 9 levers in it with false gates and serrations with 4 on one side and 6 on the other. Presetting past false gates is best. Today we have a Miwa vm88 cam lock. 5 pin chambers on top normally populated with only 4 pins stacks at random. The second locking mechanism is 4 magnetic pins with drivers that need to be pushed to shear. Feedback from magnets was really subtle not sure if it came through in the video. Today we have a Northern Telecom NE-22. This lock has 6 levers with false gates. It also has a divider in the middle of the lever pack. The plug is up against the lever pack under tension in neutral so tooling was a hurdle for a while. Also note the plug is separate from the cam for extra fun tensioning. Today we have a magnetic lock from Miwa. Featuring 6 pin stacks on top and magnetic elements on both sides. Each side has a place for up to 7 chambers. My example had one left and 4 right. So I'm feeling a little cheated lol. Nice pick. Congratulation. Note that this is the cylinder which is inside the house. This means several security feature are missing including an anti-pick element which kind of locks the gears when the cylinder start moving. This means that as soon as you push to tension the lock, the gears will be locked before they can reach the bar at the back of the lock on which you want to tension them, making the pick extremely difficult.
Oh I am well aware and working on exterior with the blocker. Still an extremely difficult lock to pick. Also note not all 787's come with blockers on the exterior side. I have one on my desk right now that didn't have it. Cheers and thanks for watching.

Soooooo. Quick poll here because with all the specialized tools coming up it matters. Protec 2 is currently a black belt lock. How should the classification change as special tools evolve? I'd say for someone picking it this way it stays a black belt. For the first person to make a specialized pick as did crispix with the clever tension device it is a black but then for all the people who follow using that special tool, maybe it's not so difficult anymore and gets downgraded. Thoughts? Oh, and shut up Billy!

@@SadisticPicker normally I recommend heavy tension for tapered pins. In this lock heavy tension just helped me over set all the time so I used light. Definitely got better results. Cheers ☕
