I have by mistake showed the velocity of the particle v = rω in the rotating frame, but this is incorrect as the particle is at rest in the rotating frame. Once we know the force by the disc on the particle, we will again go to the ground frame to find the power delivered.

Why is the charge per unit length on the ellipse not uniform?
There is nothing to suggest that it should be uniform In fact it would be surprising if it was

Correcting a small mistake: at 16:10, I have written Vpo in black. To get Vpo, we have to subtract Vo from Vp, and NOT the other way around as I have done, so in everything to the right of Vpo in the equation, O and P should be interchanged.
I did not mention this explicitly in the video, but here we are only looking at uniform (isotropic) scaling of planar bodies.
