I don't know,,what video you watched,,it was a racing bike,I thought he closed of down shifting, engine braking,,and reved,,when go up Gears,,watch it again,,
@@sfprivateer Quick shifter for upshifts yes, but I was wondering the same thing because it doesn't sound like an auto blipper for downshifts. Seems like slipper clutch is doing all the work here
Since you posted this more recently than 4 years ago.. may I ask why these guys nearly never rev match on down shifts? I'm genuinely curious. I suppose if they're braking hard, rev matching removes efficiency? 🤔
You have to admire the skill, but this would be too dangerous for me even if I had the skill, the bike and the opportunity. I'm speaking as a biker who is used to driving through heavy London traffic - formerly on a GSXR 1000 k5 - until it got nicked.
You can please some of the people, some of the time but you can't please all the people all the time. 9 time out of ten times I see people ask for videos with telemetry embedded, not the other way round. Perhaps the poster should provide 5 different versions to please everyone. There are plenty of Duke on board videos with both but mostly without. The alternative is you make your own. They just don't fall out of the sky.
So richtig bohren die anderen Jungs ja nun auch nicht in der Nase. Ich habe davor den größten Respekt
what cc is the bike it would be good to see the rpms he' sounds like it's in the red whenever possible
mir is schlecht jetz....
This was a practice/tyre warmer lap.
It must be great being Michael Dunlop when the flag drops.
Phenomenal to see
Anyone know the part of the track where Simon Andrews had his fatal accident?
Am ......
Dats a killing sound, very brutal machine
Is he rev matching when dropping down or just letting the engine braking smash him?
Engine braking
MD roasting
Brave man. Steel balls
Seriously dropping back down looks just as intense as watching the bike get up there!, I can feel my organs coming through my chest just watching it😂
Is all the agressive reving needed ???? I felt for the engine Does he go through a lot of motors ??????

Careful on the downshifts there.
@1:45
It’s all good, but their is zero margin for error, now that’s scary.
Thank you Micheal....that was my first around the track. Looks fast.
And that’s a warm up lap too
the northwest 200 drivers: heroes!
200 😵😵😵🙃🙃🙃😉
How come these road racers rarely rev match on down shifts? Genuinely curious
Quick shifter shenanigans
Because they don't have to. The quick shifter does the job for them without any rear wheel upsetting.

Guy Martin is right the track has been ruined with all those stupid chicanes!
They sure do rely on those slipper clutches on the down changes.... sheesh!

textbook take the slow slow and ride the shit out of the fast sections
Perhaps Michael would like you to stand at the braking point with a sign. Other wise he may forget to brake seeing he is texting and sipping a latte.
