I was excited for the original release of the bronco. The excitement immediately left when the numbers revealed something like 15-17mpg i canceled my order instantly. In todays world that is unacceptable. My almost 30 year old isuzu trooper has the same look, better gas mileage. and often better features by being simple.

This is a case where I think if you time it right, you may be better able to buy and afford it better than earlier model years. Mainly because rates are not looking to be nearly as bad come 2025. However, this will really only apply to people with good credit, who know how to save and budget with a reasonable down payment or trade in.

A 2-door ('24) Big Bend *starts* at $52K CAD up here in Canuckistan, if you can find one....most dealers have loaded up $75K + models on the lot. We haven't gotten the '25 pricing on Ford.ca yet, but I suspect that the new "Base" will be around that or a bit more....ludicrous. Eventually, the market will correct itself....but until then....

Although I love the Bronco, my economic status precludes them from my budget. ;-) I was able to afford a new Explorer Active 4wd though. I think Ford now has enough stuff stuck on their lots that they are willing to deal off of MSRP again. I spent 6 hours at the dealer and got my new Active for $7500 below MSRP. Got a really good price on my trade as well. Used cars were going for more than what I paid for the new Active. I think so much money was owed on them that they had to try to sell them for big bucks just to pay off the banks that owned them. Yeah, it's not as exciting as the Bronco. It's a sort of competent jack of all trades SUV that does everything pretty well. I've had it a couple months and 2k miles now. Very pleased with it. The 2.3 eco with the 10 speed really puts the torque to the ground well. Good balance between power and economy. I'm getting 24 mpg in mixed driving and over 28 hiway. As an old man, I drive conservatively. I prefer the right lane doing the speed limit. I'm fighting cancer again. So this'll be my last new car. First world problems, right? But it is what I need. My three camping trips a year would not have challenged a Bronco. 90% of my driving, I am doing old man stuff. I hope everyone who gets a Bronco can enjoy them. I was excited when they brought them back a few years back.

i pre-ordered on the 2nd or 3rd day - but chose lux, MIC, and tow package on my sasquatch badlands, and I picked it up in October of 2022. Looks like those options forced my bronco to take 13 more months than yours to build. I am glad on the new 2025's you can finally build a FE like Badlands, and the new steering rack + hoss 3.0 is plus. That soft top looks so bad though, and really ruins the lines of the bronco. Also, i have the sunrider top bnib

I got laid off for the 2nd time in 6 months after relocating to Seattle in 2022. Haven't been able to find a job due to that employer or someone on my linkedin badmouthing me without my knowledge until recently. 2 years of denied applications and lost round 3 interviews. absolutely helpless. I totaled my 14 tacoma of 10 years 98k. My girlfriend of 6 years decided that was a great reason to leave me even though it was because she couldn't take accountability for cheating on me raw with her co-workers male friend. My solution? Actually replacing the stock air oil separator with a catch can on some engines like BMW's M52 M52tu and M54 does boost performance throughout the entire powerband. It even improved my mpg. I went from 12.4 mpg to 13.5 mpg in the city. On my car the main reason for me doing the CCV delete is because the stock system drains everything it catches back into the oil pan.
