Ultimate Christmas Gift 🎄🎅🎁 | Power Tool Mini Bike

Who knew you could use your Power Tool Batteries for a Mini Bike or Go Kart? Stumbled across the EGO Mini Bike at the local hardware store and found the Greenworks Version at Tractor Supply Company. They use the same battery packs that are used to power their respective lawn car products - like lawnmowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and a ton of other tools. Where you at Mikwaukee? DeWalt? Recap of the Greatest Day in Motorsports 2024 🏎️🏍️🏁
As a DIYer who does a lot of maintenance at church and helps people regularly, I had the Hart box plus two drawer and small box for over a year. My only complaint is the size. I sold it all to my buddy and upgraded to the Husky Build-out. Hart is a good DIYer box. Great comparison!
Yeah, I really like the Huksy Build Out system. It's not much more expensive compared to the budget brands. I have the Hyper Tough Drawers and Dolly on order, so I'll see how they compare to the Build Out. As a home DIY'er, I think it's going to come down to who makes the best accessories :) Thanks for watching!!!
Does anyone know if these trays will fit in the new drawer build out cases?
The tray won't fit well inside the drawers. The drawers have tabs that stick up to hold the dividers, so the trays won't sit flush with the bottom of the drawer. So you'll need to either file the tabs down or cut grooves into the bottom of the tray. Each tray is about 2 inches tall, so you'll only get one layer of trays in the shallow drawer, which is 3.5 inches tall. Hope that helps !!
@@kintsugimotovery helpful! Thank you!
wish some one would make one with wrenches
Ohh, that would be interesting ... but I wonder how much bulk that would add to case? Might make it too large to EDC?
@@kintsugimoto want it for my truck
@@jameslong1644 The Husky Build Out Mechanic Set would work well for carrying in a truck: ua-cam.com/video/UMNaHtCxk-o/v-deo.html
Great video. So happy to find it. I got the original turn signals and I only need to remove the fairing in order to change the light bulb 😑 think I'm gonna try to just disassemble the top mount of the fairing 😆
Thank you for watching and commenting !!! I'm glad that you found the video to be helpful :) I'm trying to get my airhead back on the road, but have some upgrades for it, so more videos coming soon. Good luck with your light bulb replacement ... hopefully disassembling from the top gives you enough space :)
The bed design was ahead of its time, unlike any other step side, the outer side was curved to match the lines of the cab. And its fenders weren’t as bulky. This reappeared on the ford ranger splash.
Ahh, didn't know that. Thank you for sharing ... it's definitely a well-designed truck. Agree that's ahead of it's time :) Happy Holidays !!!
@ check the truck out closer, I believe the fenders front and rear weren’t welted like the rest of truck of the day. The curve of the bedsides really astonished me when I noticed it. I would love to have one of those trucks. Happy holidays to you as well.
@@michaelupton4523 I'll definitely take a look when I see this truck again. Yeah, I would love to have one too !!! These are definitely some of the best looking trucks that I've ever seen.
Still up in the air between Build-Out or Pro Gear. They both have features Inwish the other has. I have to get my hands on before I can make a full determination. Very informative video. Merry Christmas!
They are both really good boxes, but it seems like the Husky has more accessories compared to the Pro Gear, but you're right they both have features that I wish the other one had. There should be plenty of stock at the local Home Depot - they didn't run any good discounts this year, so the inventory seems to be sitting. Happy Shopping and Merry Christmas to you too !!!
After spending an hour at home Depot, I just ordered the build out system. Rolling cart, large box, small box, clear top organizer, and the 3 drawer. I appreciate your reviews on the system! It truly helped with my determination.
@@conanrdk Awesome !!! I think you're going to really enjoy them. After looking at several different brands, the Husky Build Out seems to be the best bang-for-your-buck system. Thanks for watching !!!
I love the Ego mini bike but would love to see them do an Electric Scooter that I can use for commuting. Would swap eco system for this.
That would be awesome if they did !!!
The middle ridge on the top of the boxes is for half boxes that will come out in the future.
Ahh, that makes sense!! Thanks for clarifying :)
@kintsugimoto you need to checkout the VACO Ratchet kit, they are made through Klein.
***UPDATE*** Thanks to @ChrisBranleh for finding the Walmart Hyper Stack Three Drawer Box and the Dolly are both NOW available: ▶ Hyper Tough Hyper Stack 3 Drawer Tool Storage Box $40: www.walmart.com/ip/seot/10586523299 ▶ Hyper Tough Moving Dolly, 4" Caster Wheels $25: www.walmart.com/ip/DOLLY-4-CASTER/1059081632
I went with craftsman versa stack. Paid 89.99 for the 3 box starter kit. Only reason I chose craftsman over hart was because craftsman makes tool sets that snap on to the versastack system. I also had $30 in lowes reward points.
That’s a really good price for the Craftsman … and I agree, there are definitely more accessories for the Craftsman vs Hart of Hyperstack
Why don’t ya zoom out so we can see the damn thing, and keep the camera in one spot?
Sorry about that … it was one of my first times recording and uploading to UA-cam. I’ll see if I can go back and make a better video
You are a Sinner for using that song
Hahahahahaha !!! Happy Holidays 🎄🎁🎅
For the Hart you have tons of options when it comes to different boxes to add on
But for how long I wonder? The Hart box was out for a while and seemed like it was doing well. Then Walmart brought out the Hyperstack and dropped the price on the Hart boxes ... to me that signals that Walmart might be phasing out the Hart box and putting their investment behind the Hyperstack? So I'm a bit hesitant to get too invested in the Hart. Although I said the same thing about Husky Connect and Husky Build Out, and a year later they are both still around !! 🤷♂
As a Mecanic that’s use all 3 the husky is the best I have seen for price having decent drawers is amazing
That's for adding your experience with Husky. It definitely seems to be the best bang for your buck. I hope they continue to introduce more accessories and more boxes :)
Does it work as well if you buy both items at the store instead of on line before returning one of them?
Yup, it sure does!! I just did a video where I did exactly that. Walked into a store, purchased two items, then returned one of them a few days later: ua-cam.com/video/D-6Vk0hX0yo/v-deo.html
Does it come with 3/4 sockets? Or is the larges 11/16? Really wish the wrenches went up to 3/4
On the 1/2 drive sockets, you get both the 11/16 and 3/4. You also get a 7/8 socket for the 1/2 drive. Yeah, the wrench selection in this kit is a bit lacking.
Picking the most expensive tool does not necessarily get you the best price on the item you want. I wanted the M18 inflator regular price $179 so I added the M18 Fuel 18V lithium-Ion brushless cordless hammer drill and impact driver combo. That brought the price of the inflator to $123.57. So I removed that item and selected the 3 pack of M18 Lithium batteries for $299, that brought the price of the inflator down to $111.97
Interesting ... OK, I'll have to play around with the different combinations for next time. I haven't seen a really good BOGO deal lately, but hoping some will drop soon ... not that I need any more tools, but I can't pass up a good deal !!! lol
@@kintsugimoto I should have added that the Cordless Hammer Drill and Impact Driver regular price was $399 and when you selected that with the inflator it dropped the price on both products. The Cordless Hammer Drill and Impact Driver dropped to $275.43 and the inflator to $123.57
Filmed inside Home Depot and you're not smart enough to grab a tape measurer so you can give us the interior distentions.
It feels a bit weird to film inside the store ... all the associates come by and wonder what you're doing !!! LOL I measured it when I got home. Interior Dimensions are approximately: - Top Drawer: 11 in x 15.5 in x 3.5 in - Bottom Drawer: 11 in x 15.5 in x 7 in
We are not the same😂
Hahahaha, yeah they differ in value by about $100,000 but otherwise pretty much the same!! lol
Why is the Japanifold Better?
It's mostly for the sound ... you get more of a deeper burble with the Japanifold :) Some say that it increase performance as the opening for the exhaust port is wider to help the gases exit faster, but for everyday driving, you probably won't notice any difference.
@kintsugimoto Thank you so much 👍
@@MB1Billion You're very welcome ... Happy Holidays !!!
Thanks for the video. I returned mine today because the pressure and spray kept cutting off after 15 second. I checked the house to faucet and turned all the way up. Maybe it was my batteries. But all 3 were charged fully and tried them all, but probably worn out for that high power. They wrk fine in RYOBI trimmer .
Oh that's no good. I had that happen to me, but when I turned the faucet all the open that problem went away. At first I thought it was because I was using Milwakee M18 batteries with an adapter, so I wonder what is causing that problem for you? 🤔
Not a cab over
Oh, I always thought that’s what these styles were called. So what’s the proper term for these?
After using the kobalt 50 piece kit for a month on a service cart i can say .... its gets easier to remove things. Id rather have it this way bc over time they wont get loose like a lot of cases .... The ratchet has a small foot print, there are no skips in sizes. I added a set of deep sae and metric sockets with a small t-handle breaker ... some days i can get away with just that kit even tho i do collision repair on bug school busses
Good to hear that it loosens up after a "break-in" period. Wow, that's amazing that you're able just use this set for collision work ... seems like you would need a 3/8 or 1/2 set !!! lol
I have the 290 piece. Lost some pieces. But i still have all the wrenches. I wish they had extra inserts just for those. I actually bought this 270 set last week with this case...its FKN awesome. I don't use tools often, but for what it is 😎👍 The cases that come standard with these sets are just trash!
Wish they made the build out box for the 290 piece.
I just picked up up an 03 M45 for 3.4k With 115k miles. You feel like a baller driving it around knowing you probably one of the rare fews to be driving one.
Oh man, I'm so jealous !!! Yeah, I'd feel like a baller too if I had one !!! lol Enjoy it !!!
While I like the Packout system, I’m glad to see there’s more competition entering the market. Hopefully this translates to further innovation and better pricing for consumers. Thanks for the vid - informative.
As I've done more research, it seems like most of these different systems are being made by Keter. But there does seem to be more innovation to the design and functionality of newer boxes. And I think competition and innovation will continue, but whether that creates downward pressure on prices is yet to be deteremined :) Thanks for watching and commenting!!!
Wymienil sterownik i tyle , nie oplaca sie ogladac nic nie naprawił tylko wymienił
True, but by replacing that part ... the error code went away :)
What is the weight limit on the drawers? Will the top drawer hold socket sets?
It says the weight limit is 50 lbs, so that should be enough to hold a socket set. This Husky Build-Out Mechanic Set with Trays: homedepot.sjv.io/DKPkgj comes in at 32-33 lbs.
wish they would announce a release date for drawers husky build out has 1, 2, 3 drawers for about $70-80’s each. no 4 drawer. dolly is $20
Yeah, same!! I'll keep checking and I'll post here once something gets announced.
@@kintsugimoto they’re officially out! 3 drawer: $40 dolly: $25
@ChrisBranleh Thanks for the heads up !!! Just put my order in !!! I was actually just checking last night and didn't see them up yet!! lol
@@kintsugimoto sweet looking forward to a video on it and hoping to see capacity within drawers. debating whether to grab these budget drawers or to shell out some extra cash for the husky build out since they have more options and both are reasonably priced
@@ChrisBranleh I think it depends on what you'll be using it for. The budget version is probably good enough for me - I'm just a home DIY'er so these will probably just stay in my garage. That being said, the Husky Build Out isn't much more expensive, but the build quality seems much better. You could order some discounted HD gift cards to sort of brut force a discount :)
This is a hard one! I've got to do mine eventually. Thanks for the video. It's helped me get psychologically prepared....
It's not too bad once you figure out where everything needs to go, but it's hard to see what you are doing and some of it will need to go by feel. Good Luck !!!
Hyper tough looks like it could connect to the husky $149 model
Hmmm, that's interesting, I'll have to go back and try it.
Sams club too.... 69 for a tactix. 4 tier bix. Not for heave duty but its nice.
WOW !!! That's a great deal ... and it's compatible with the Bauer boxes from Harbor Freight
Can you get the Ryobi link and compare. I have it and like it so far
Sure, let me see what I can do. Might need to give me a few weeks to get around to it. I just checked Home Depot's website and they don't have the 3 box set available at a store near me, and at $140 on sale, it would be the most expensive set :)
@@kintsugimoto thanks for the reply and ok awesome. Yeah that's what I paid for mine too. I'll keep and eye out on the video. Keep up the good work 💪
Lowes has the Craftman Tradestack on a Holiday sale for $99. It's made of a lot better quality structural foam and not of this cheap Rubbermaid-type plastic of the Walmart boxes.
Yeah, that was a good deal. But I'm wondering if Craftsman is going to discontinue the Tradestack? The HyperStack from Walmart seems like they have a lot of accessories coming up for it. But I agree, the quality isn't the best, but good enough for this DIY'er :)
Is the top smaller drawer big enough to hold regular sized Milwaukee batteries?
Yup, I tried an M18 12 ah and a M12 6ah, and they both fit in the top drawer. Hope that helps!!
@ yes it does thank you 🙏
@@JLopez30 Thanks for watching and commenting!!!
People save your money and get the Milwaukee Packout, Huskey is cheap the latches will break on you! Milwaukee has a lot of different modular tool boxes than Huskey
For the DIY'er I think the Husky line is probably good enough. If you're using these everyday as a professional, then I agree, you might be better off with the Pack Out. But the quality of the Build Out is pretty good in my opinion.
Have you played with the new Husky Build-out yet? Its actually pretty good quality. And for 1/3 of the price of Packout, its definitely worth it. Especially for DIY'er, or a pro that is not beating up their system.
I REALLY wish you measured the inside diameter of the drawers.
I'll get that for you tomorrow :)
Interior Dimensions are approximately: - Top Drawer: 11 in x 15.5 in x 3.5 in - Bottom Drawer: 11 in x 15.5 in x 7 in
Waiting for the XMAS time
What happens during Christmas Time? Do you think these will go on sale? I certainly hope so !!!
i ordered the single, double and triple drawers. I am trying to figure out how to order some dividers since the Triple one only gives a set for one drawer. Now, I just need the Dolly and really wish that the Build-out and Connect would work together like the Rigid system. Also, the Husky system seems like the Keter stack.
Yeah, I have the Husky Connect too and they are so different from the Build Out. It would be really cool if they worked together. I'm sure somone will 3D print an adapter at some point!! LOL Did you see the Dolly? It's here: homedepot.sjv.io/GKKOVm Along with the worktop: homedepot.sjv.io/kOO9WL
@ I signed up for the dolly notification. I don’t need the roller. Just a dolly for the garage as DIYer. Thank for the video!
@@souk4507 Gotcha !!! Yeah, hopefully the dolly comes in soon ... or you could probably fab something up from parts at Harbor Freight :)
@@kintsugimoto you can now order the dolly online
@@souk4507 Awesome, thanks for sharing!!!
What is everyone storing in these? parts/screws? bought the rigid one last night cause the wheels were discounted to 13$
I was planning to get some foam and cut out some shadow forms and store some tools in mine. Curious what others will be doing
All plastic junk if you ask me. I miss the day where you could walk into Sears, and come out with a real metal tool box that will last a few life times. I still have all of mine, plus my dad’s! My other toolboxes are made by Kennedy, which are even better than the Sears toolboxes.
Oh believe me, I have my metal boxes too. But after dragging around a metal box at the junkyard for a couple of months, I switched to one of those canvas tool bags, but even that go too heavy to lug over my sholder. So I got one of these plastic rolling tool boxes and they've been great so far. I don't expect that they'll last forever, but they've held up OK so far :)
Its hard plastic itll last and until metal it wont dent
As a mechanic, I carry 1 small surgical tool box. I can dismantle an entire car with it . A lesson my dad taught me very well
@@josemata3845 Yeah good point about the dents ... although I think dents act character :) lol
@@Gabriel-i1z1z What's in your tool box? I'd like to downsize, but always feel like I forget something and then need to go home and grab another tool
I want the build out system over all other systems. Right now the Ridgid is about the same price because it's on sale but. I wish this build out would go on sale like all the other boxes
I think the Build Out is probably the best value in terms of cost, quality, and available accessories. But I hear you, I'm waiting for a sale too ... hopefully Home Depot gifts us a nice Holiday Special Buy soon :)
Modbox says whaddup
Modbox is nice, but not sure if it's worth double the price of the Build Out
Which one is cheaper
For sure the Husky Build Out from Home Depot is cheaper
I want a husky build out but they aren't offering any deals these holidays. I've been tempted on a couple other boxes but I think I'm going to wait until the husky goes on some sale.
Yeah, I haven't seen any great sales with the Husky Build Out Boxes. I've seen at most a 10% discount, but nothing to write home about. Hopefully they offer better discounts around Christmas
@kintsugimoto I'm supposed to be buying the kiddos presents, not myself lol but if that box goes on sale I'm finding a way to snag it up. Was going to just grab the bottom box for now but it's going for $80 and honestly that seems steep considering the husky brand is the in house brand and is almost always a way better price from name brand stuff.
@PDillz I know there are some places where you can buy Home Depot Gift Cards at a discount, then yu can use those to buy the Build Out Box and get a little bit of a discount. But if you can wait, I bet these will eventually go on sale at some point.
That craftsman V series set is designed to hold a Facom ratchet. Craftsman swapped in their 1/4 ratchet, thats why is has those plastic parts in there to make it fit.
Ahhhh, that explains a lot !!! Thanks for sharing !!!
@@kintsugimoto I heated the handle of the ratchet with a torch and pressed it down onto the plastic piece, now it sits still.
@@mrrobotto3321 Oh that's a neat trick !!! I might try that too!!
Thinking of getting a few these as they are more affordable and are decent quality.
It's probably the best value of the "pro" version of the modular boxes. There are some DIY, consumer grade modular boxes from Walmart that are even cheaper, but the quality isn't as good as the Husky Build Out
