How to identify a Cutlass Ciera International Series by the Cutlass Ciera Resource Center. Additional notes: All Cieras have black painted wiper arms. Ciera GT/IS coupes would have option code W45 in place of W49.
Is this cutlass a gbody
Such a helpful video. I had no idea this spac cutlass existed. Most here I see are base models.
My parents owned a late 80’s international edition in Royal blue. Loved that car so much. Tinted out and quick off the line.
Thank you so much for saving this car. To find a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera international series with EVERY SINGLE option is a jewel in itself. I hope you do a full restoration on this car as it deserves to be seen again in it's original glory.
The Holiday coupes are some of the rarest of all Cutlass Cieras of the time. I personally thought they were super elegant and this video does a great job of explaining a true "Holiday coupe" from a regular brougham coupe. The options codes don't lie.
my favorite car
Now that is an American car! They don't make cars that look like that anymore. Now days you can't tell a chevy or a ford next to a toyota.
I miss my car so much. I had a beige/tan '84 Holiday purchased in '88 with 30k miles. They stole it and I miraculously recovered it. That theft made me move away from NYC. I left it to my dad in NY because I was moving to FL and was too scared to drive alone. I was 18. Wish I still had it. Always regret that decision.
I have an 88 four door 3.8 v6
I can’t figure out if my parents was an 87 or 88?
Hey frank.
These were dubbed the Cutlass Eurosport down here in Mexico, and BOY do people love these.
Used to have an 86 coupe GT. Had the 3.8L miss that car so much. Had well over 300k miles.
My first car was my grandmas 87 Cutlass Ciera Brougham 4 door. It was gold with a tan vinyl top. Only 30,000ish miles.
Great job on the International documentary, I had also a 1988 2 door and was kicking ass on the street. People ask what was under the hood and I replied it's a Grand National engine without the Turbo. Loved it fast, stylish and head turner. It makes me sad that it's forgotten. Now that I'm older, I'm looking for another one to really fix it up with lot's of upgrades. Mine had the dash, door, and center console trim custom painted High Gloss Black. Man beautiful I tell you. Also lowered, custom cold air intake, and a sound system. Thanks alot dude, you made my day. Keep us posted on your project.
Very informative.
I’ve got a 90. No sunroof. There’s a 0-75 acceleration vid of it on here.
Very good!
Wow, this is great!
