You use cold water. If the stain is only 1-2 weeks old, use cold water. I’m a DLI certified dry cleaner and cold water is the way with blood. Please, please, please, never use warm or hot water with blood. You might as well throw your garment in the garbage after that because it’s going nowhere. Only use bleach if you expect it to last another 6 months. Bleach is nasty stuff.

I've been using this trick a long time. One time my old boss cut his finger at work, so I made him give me his shirt (he always kept a spare). He was amazed by this trick. I miss that man. He was a great boss and an even better person.

All these "recipes" might work fine if it's fresh blood but if it's 2/3/4/6 years old, none of them work as easily as these videos/clips/shorts portray. Peroxide, Baking Soda, Dawn Dish Soap... none of it works magically on old blood. Eventually, it'll get "most" of it out but it takes several attempts and several wash cycles.
