MPL-SIS: Locating System for Pipe-jacking and Micro-tunneling
MPL-SIS is a guidance system for steerable pipejacking machines, shield-tunneling machines and micro-tunneling. The system uses electromagnetic induction to send a signal from the transmitter, which is installed inside the machine, which can be picked-up by the receiver on the surface. This has many advantages to the current guidance systems based on gyroscopes or lasers.

Locating plastic or non-metallic pipes and ducts with LDR-mini
Переглядів 2214 роки тому
The MPL series by Takachiho is the perfect tool for locating metal pipes and cables underground, but with the LDR-mini traceable rodder, now you can trace non-metallic pipes like PVC, HDPE, MDPE and fiberoptic ducts. LDR works with all Takachiho locators and is durable and flexible, which means it won't snap in those tight bends like most rods.

TR-1 automatically saves data such as GPS location, start and stop points, and depth measurements. This data can be exported to mapping software such as Google Maps or Google Earth to create interactive maps with your scan data.
MPL-H11S: Direct Connect and External Coil Clamp
Переглядів 1626 років тому
Connecting directly to utilities is the most accurate way to locate utilities. For live electrical wires, insulated pipes or cables inside of non-conductive risers, the external coil clamp is almost as accurate as direct connect. Watch our video on Inductive locating to see how to locate when no connection is possible.
MPL-H11S: Inductive method
Переглядів 2306 років тому
Inductive method is very convenient as it requires no hook-up to utilities or ground. Simply place the transmitter over the intended utility and it will induce a magnetic field on the pipe or cable. No special settings are required on the receiver.
