Horses are not aggressive. They are strict fight or flight animals, and nit particularly smart. This horse has no idea what is going on, its scared and feels both trapped and stressed and instinkt tells it to fight back just as it would do if a tiger attacked it and kept it down. All horses needs to be handled from very early age to prevent these instincts developing, by hugging, touching all over the foals body, lifting their feets, open their mouths and caress all of its body from newborn and up makes the horse used to human touch and much less likely to respond with kicking and biting when you trim their hooves. Google on "handling new foals" and read up. I see in these videos so many lazy useless peasants walking around in donkey pens doing absolutely nothing productive, smoking and coughing and beating animals. If they instead since they seem to be completely uninterested in keeping the surroundings clean, if they spent time petting, handfeeding, training donkeys by lifting their legs this constant battle everytime someone needs to trim their feet would end.
