when i was 15, i used to be on my school's esports team. my life was perfect. i had a bf who was our team captain, lots of friends, and a team that felt like family. that was until me and my bf broke up. we agreed to be friends, but i felt so hurt. time passed, and one of my "best friends" made up awful rumors about me with no proof. everyone believed him. i thought i lost everything, but i have the good memories and the ability to day dream about more good times that will never even happen. i'm a junior in highschool now. it's been 6 months since me and my ex broke up, and 2 months since the rumors started. i'm doing better. recently ive been focusing on my favorite class (vet sciences) for those struggling: don't give up. everything happens for a reason. project your thoughts into art, writing, music, and any other positive passions. it's ok to feel things, sometimes you need to feel them. just don't dwell on the past. enjoy what you had, remember the good times, and make new memories with better people. stay safe, and don't waste your time on fake friends. you're worth more than that ♡
