Point-of-Care Ultrasound Workshop | Life Support in Emergency | AKU-CIME
A recent workshop at #AKUCIME on Point-of-Care Ultrasound for Life Support in Emergency (PULSE) equipped healthcare professionals with essential, life-saving skills!
Led by Dr Noman Ali, Assistant Professor and Consultant at the Department of Emergency Medicine, AKUH, the workshop provided participants with practical experience on the use of point-of-care ultrasound in managing critically ill patients. The full-day event included modules on undifferentiated shock, respiratory distress, and cardiac arrest, equipping physicians with the skills to make faster and more accurate decisions at the bedside.
Together, we're moving forward to raise the standard of emergency care in Pakistan!

As an alumni, I love how CIME is improving student's learning. However, both the speakers are doctors. I don't see someone talking from nursing side. I see some of them in background but a separate perspective would be good. May be next time we will see nurses, doctors and dental hygienists giving the tour together.
