Radio really is a mood killer. First you might have to suffer through 30-40 songs sometimes before hearing a decent one. Even worse are if you hear a really good song and the next one is really bad. Then that messes with the mood the good song gave you.

My guess is that the person who made the translations is not as familiar with the english language. Those strange translations are not because there are no good english version. Thanks for the fantastic reaction! Queen had overcome a lot of bad press at that time because they had played South Africa during apartheid. Queen wasn’t even on the program to perform ant Live Aid and Freddie had a throat infection but soldiered on anyway.. no other band could touch them when it came to live performances. Another song you might want to listen to is Somebody To Love, live in Montreal 1981. Also, check out their live version of White Queen . Stunning. They performed in front of 300,000 people at Rock In Rio and the entire crowd sang the words to love of my life.(just Freddie and Brian on acoustic guitar). Once you start down the queen rabbit hole, you will never forget them. All the best to you..

Totally agree with you, it’s sad that people don’t give music in a different language a chance. Norwegian myself and I really enjoy listening to music in another language. Speak Norwegian and English, but I am a huge fan of for example Icelandic and Czech music🤩 Sometimes it’s not just about the words
