I honestly wasn't sure about Gyllenhaal taking on one of Swayze's most iconic roles...that being said, I was impressed. This was more of a..kinda "sequel" than a remake. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and felt it not only paid homage to the original Road House, but also to the iconic Patrick Swayze. This movie stirred the same emotions, within me, as the original...as Swayze did as he played the role of Dalton. I did miss the absent role of Wade played by the iconic Sam Elliott as he did die in the original movie. I would have liked to have seen Mr. Elliott play maybe a different small part, maybe a shop or boat owner in the Keys. R.I.P. Mr. Swayze.

Have always liked Clooney & Pitt, & their chemistry together. Missed it when it first came out. Surprised it just popped up on my phone. Thanx for an entertaining Sunday morning.

Was that Post-Malone fighting at the beginning? That was pretty cool! Reminds me of a dude I grew up with. Strapped full of one-liners and always danced around when he got into fights! Even if there was no music! He didn’t lose much but if he did he was always cool about it! Cause he knew what he was about and if you came out on top he’d always say the same thing, “you’re a tough mother fucker, now buy me a beer”! True story!

As a huge fan of both lead Actors and their wives or "Baby Mama's" as well if not even more, seems like I've waited forever for the release of this film, I recall seeing them film those cold street scenes at night in NYC a long, long time ago and I've looked forward to be mesmerized be their on-camera brilliance in Alpha-Male masculinity feeding of each other keenly, no matter the script and as if they're working together for the very first time. However in modern movies, no other dynamic duo, does it better on the big screen unless it has comedic flair as the underbelly of those action-packed or big explosive, shoot 'em up sequences. Yet, with America's 2 favorite male movie Superstars, only they could still totally convince us here, they have no actual history of working together at all. Now, more than ever before (not really) I look forward to seeing them in their follow up to this one as well. No reason at all to leave us hanging for decades again...

Great movie! I usually don't get past 10 minutes watching newer movies, but the chemistry between Clooney and Pitt was real and the levels of suspense and humor were well-gauged! I usually fast forward through chase scenes because they're all the same, but the guy in the underwear trying to escape had me! LOL P.S. I get it! It always bothered me why they spelled it 'WOLFS' instead of the correct spelling! Wolf is singular, SO wolfs instead of wolves, is two independent guys actually working together in spite of themselves. Like another commenter said, I would like this to be a series!
