They should have just cut the shift. 3 job applications per week and you can’t refuse work. We’re going to find another job. No employer will allow an employee to leave for a week to return to their old job. This is essentially a forced quit.

Different departments start the layoff different dates are you including those dates in the packet so we open our claims on the correct date. Also having never filed my own sub those dates too. Again is there a call in number as well as a website because not everyone has a computer and how many weeks do we get unemployment for you are stating we get only 52 weeks of sub pay but second shift is going to be laid off for a year and a half so is that different because we’re on a temporary status or is that why we’re coming back for a week in May to reset that sub pay? I’m unclear on a bunch of issues and body shop stamping and material. They don’t get laid off until the 27th is their last day so we need definitive dates on when to open our claims and went to file our claims. Thank you again so much for your hard work appreciate it.

Fairfax being the only plant that does sub pay like that is bullshit. The Union threw Fairfax under the bus and as far as the “loopholes” being closed the Union should’ve been greasing palms and stuffing lobbyist pockets knowing the law was up for change regarding the issue revolving around reporting for weekly work.
