    Do you feel that this an underused attack? I’ve learned variations in karate and Krav Maga but it seems as if they aren’t stressed.

    Would you do a video about behavior rules against the opponent? With this i mean the 'previous stage' before the fight. When things are "heating up". Example: never look at your opponent with your chin up And Thanks for all the useful content.

    Dude I had an old platoon mate do a full Nelson on me. he outweighed me by about 100 pounds and was 6 inches taller than me. I was KOed like a light going out. If you get caught by someone who really knows what they are doing and they are built like a tank, it’s probably better to not struggle because they will let you go after you pass out. For someone around the same size as you, ok maybe

    Well explained, It depends also of your fight level but also of their level of your rival(s) for example for me it would be more difficult to fight against one good bodyguard than fight against four or even fight guys who were in my school in secondary. Why because I know the roster of my former school and they don't know fight in fact and it's true they fought like the chapter of the fight between Bart Simpson vs Lisa Simpson seriously. Level is very crucial. Good video and good Sunday.

    If you have any skills or fighting capabilities just run. 20 km/ h for 3 min (thats the police fitness test or boxing fitness test to know if you are in a good form). Maybe one of 100.000 people will be able to run after you and then after that have enough stamina to fight you. You can train it in your fitness center (there are several treadmill gyms for use) or just rent a electric scooter with your friend and try to keep for 3 min with him running while he is max speed (max speed on those is 20km /h). Fighting is a anaerobic sport (30 sec sprint and 2 to 4 min rest depending on your shape). Every punch, sidestep, slip or thinking process is done while 200 heartrate and lungs full in and out. You can train that to feel more comfortable and strong in that particular moment. Just buy some sports sneakers from ALDI or LIDL and start with it. Outside on the fresh air not inside a building with some wannabe fighting old people who smells like Mc Donalds with much onion or garlic. Most people anyway have a really slow metabolism because they sit a lot and drink too much coffee to prevent sleeping. If you do this kind of intervall training you can use a timer app - best ones are with i phones and dont drink coffee or red bull because your heart have to cool down after that. People who are out of shape, heavy smokers or want maximaze that intervall training have to do some swimming first to train their lungs full capacity. Sure you can swimm in intervalls too from a side to a another very fast and then do a 2 to 4 min rest. 4 sets are minimum but more than 11 sets are optimal when you want to improve very fast. After that you can do sprints in the park. You don t need expensive sport shoes for that because you dont run long distance. ALDI or LIDL have shoes for under 20 Euro. Knees and ancles must be warm up or in the worst scenario build with some elastic thera bands exercises. Sure it looks a kinda crazy but everybody in the gym have some problems with their neck, knee or back because they are sitting all the time at work. Jogging in the park has a very good mental effect on you too. You can even take your hot tee with you if you like. If you have ANY ANAEROBIC capability and go to your boxing club near your home you ARE JUST A STANDING PUNCHING BALL FOR EXPERIENCE FIGHTERS. THEY JUST USE TRAIN AND IMPROVE THEIR TECHNIQUE ON YOU. YOU LEARN NOTHING YOU JUST LEARN TO TAKE PUNCHES. When you can t fight at 200 heartrate and out of air you cant even think and make good decisions for you. Your body is only on survival mode. No creative thinking in this situation possible. Even when you learn a good technique is worthless because is done in slow motion and your punching power is only 20- max 40 %. You are out of air.

    Totally agree my friend, many ring fighters don't know that one thing is the ring but the street is different. In the past I had some debates with a former teacher because he said that katas or forms improve self defense skills and always I said him that it's false, but that's the point many people mix the concepts and then confusion appears. Good video.

    • @dirtycombattraining
      @dirtycombattraining 2 місяці тому

      Yes thats true. And it gives also a very lot instructors they have no idea about real situations. Only very realistic training make you ready for the street.
