Celebrating the Gift of Izziah's 4th Birthday
Such a sweet boy turned 4 years old this week. What a special day we had. Izziah was very excited to be growing one year older. He chose what he wanted to do on his birthday. Some of his favorite things were going on an extra-long walk to visit the donkeys, and then took the long way home as well. It was a lovely fall day, and I was happy to oblige him.
We played outside for a while, and he rode his bike.
For his cake he chose strawberry with pink vanilla frosting and sugar sprinkles. I was surprised when he said he didn't want to help me decorate it. He did happily eat some though in the evening when Nanna, Bampa, Grandpa Dick, Grandma Judy, and Jordan came over to celebrate with us.
This fun day ended with a most beautiful sunset appreciated by all.
Praise God for allowing us another year with this special blessing. Praying for many, many more.

Some weeks are so busy you forget to pick up the camera, or the moments pass so quickly, the scene becomes imprinted only in our memories, and not on film. Solomon has started saying "I wuv you." It melts my heart.

How quickly little ones change. One day they lie helpless in your arms and the next it seems they are running and climbing and tumbling with their older siblings. My baby is becoming a young man right before my eyes. What a blessing to be given this opportunity to partake in the journey.
