Beautiful. One of my favourite songs of all time
Taking me across the span of a lifetime. Beautiful and tearful too.
The FOH audio tech should have been fired.
I always thought the studio cut was a little fast. That may have been because I couldn't play it when I was 17. Now I think this one's too slow, but I'm not 80 yet... And Neil really messed up his solo.
Loved playing this song when I played out. Always felt there was a similarity between this song and Stephen Stills "Love the one you're with".
There you go...the ads are longer than the video. Pure greed. Posting to you tube is NOT a vocation. Go build something, make life better...youm just sling ads for money. FY!
Honey, this was posted to YT way before "ads" were a thing. They automatically put ads in any high volume clip. I get ZERO for this.
Great Stuff! The guests on this current tour constantly re-invent these Ol' ABB Classics!
Lovely❤
Oh yeah!!
David’s vocals, Marcus Eaton’s guitar…gorgeous
I was there that day
Amazing song. Thank you Poco.
Thanks for the comments - I was reminded who the lead singer was.
The original (1966-67) version was better, of course. This was actually probably their best song.
I love this song !
I dearly love this song.
Oof.
Bucket list thing...see these guys play live
Best version is on 4-way Street CSNY album by far
Kenny is a good singer. Why did he wait so long to do it?
My absolute favourite band of all time! Wish I could have seen them in person.
what a bore
The are so gooooood! Thanks!
Fantastic! I need to make arrangements to come to Nashville to see them live! I've been following both on UA-cam, can't wait to see them in person. 2 of my favorite guitar players.
They're playing there again on Dec 20th. They're also playing an acoustic show with Jedd Hughes at the Basement on Nov 6th & 7th.
✅😊
Call it love I want you guys to know it brings back many memories and if you asked me one of the best damn songs ever written, you killed it guys rock on
I love that they were faithful to the original vocal arrangement --you can tell Stephen and Neil were enjoying being backing vocalists, and they totally nail it.
Love this extended version too - awesome.
That was filmed at the old High Watt! 😊
Rick Rosas ❤
Bad singing life! here! It was much better with Randy Meisner life , that was awesome! It proves Randy was very good singing life.
Not sure what you mean by "life", but Randy Meisner didn't sing lead on that song. It was Rusty on the record.
favorite band still - amazing vibe
Hard to believe they started in 66, a year before i was born, and here they are in all their glory. Its too bad richie never got the full success of neil and stephen, but God had other plans for him, and hes a minister. Like the angel said to Enoch, mortal man can never understand the mind of God.
I was in a Jersey shore band The Shakes in the early ‘80s & we did this one; great song; cool performance here
🐦
Written by Neil, but his voice wasn't "suitable for radio play"
One of my favorite of theird❤😂
One of my all time favorite ❤
What a voice
Superb...only thing missing were the horns...which they used on the original version. Powerful song.
Got drafted in 69, went to California for one last fling, first time I heard Buffalo Springfield I have been forever a fan.
Cool. Best post ever!
Got drafted in 1972, my last fling was seeing Emerson, Lake and Palmer Saratoga NY. fan of both as well. Tc, bill
Who cares? Why did you even comment?
@@DogRoar-dq4ri Who are you referring to? Mind your manners.
the choir is awesome!
…THIS IS NOT BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD !
…this is not of course Buffalo Springfield…this is Stills Furay and Young and a couple of pick-up players…i guess in the USA where Journey or Foreigner or Steely Dan or the Rolling Stones can still perform with one or two original members and nobody seems to care…i guess all the “tribute” bands have dulled everyone’s perception and discretion…
Great version of Jack’s tune!
Regardless these guys had all aged a fair bit (13 years ago already in 2024), that magic is still there. It's hard to imagine just how exciting it must have been for them in 1966, young and bursting out with talent and creativity and maybe not yet realising just how importantly they were going to shape some of the best music of the 70s.
Majesty!
Gonna see TTB in March. Sure hope they do this great song!
Got to know Rusty a few years back down here in the Mo. Ozarks. What a great human! Big Heart.. Soul
Buffalo Springfield forever!
Not lasting forever is what makes it special.
What a great band; they miss Bruce and Dewey....
