I'm a 'utilitarian' sewing person (carry bags, tool holders, hem pants, repair cloth, etc). I've only made three pieces of clothing (costumes) from established patterns. I've been with a Gilbert and Sullivan theatrical group for almost ten years, and costuming is comprised of existing from other groups. I'm half way through this video, as you're taping the young lady, and it suddenly hit me. You will have created a 'custom' pattern, from which you can cut fabric. Nice idea. Gotta ask, though. Was she all sticky from the glue seeping through the T shirt?

Napoleon loved Josephine very much . If she continued as the empress Napoleon would not be defeated in any battle and would not be in exile. History may have taken another turn.

I do wonder why people use duct tape when plaster casting materials are pretty easy to get and probably about the same cost. This tape is a little different. Packing tape. The trick for shape is short pieces of tape in the challenging curves. I hate the glue that is going to come oozing out with duct tape. You would have to paint over plaster. Fiberglass casting tape however, would be fine without a coat of paint. Then there is poor man's fiberglass made with white or carpenters glue and fabric. That would probably take too long to dry. You would have to wear it for hours and hours! I like the spray foam, but how many cans? I would use something cheaper for a center filler and then the spray foam to fill the gaps and make it solid.

Great tutorial! I can see many practical uses for this. Thinking about using this technique to make an ornate standing mirror frame with some students. Any advice on how much caulking to buy?

Aphrodite, Subtle-souled and deathless Daughter of god, temptress I pray to you, with neither care nor anguish, do not slay my spirit In pity, come to me. Come now, I implore you. You have yet to listen. Come from the house of your father Come on your chariot, pulled by doves down into the dark earth from Heaven Dipping vibrant wings down the azure distance through the mid aether Very swiftly you came, and your gracious vision leaned and smiled in immortal beauty. Leaned to me, and asked what misfortune threatened?, why had I called you?, What had my frenzied heart craved in utter yearning? Whose wild desire had swayed to passion? Whose disdainful charms, madly worshipped, had slight you? Who wrongs you, Sappho? She who desires to leave will soon come after, she who currently refuses, will try to win you over with gifts she who ignores you, will soon love you passionately Love you, the one who hesitates! Come to me now, Goddess, and free me from suffering and pain; fulfill all my desires once again continue to support me Best I can do at the moment, unless you’d like just a summary with too much slang.

I hope this doesn’t post twice, I tried to comment and it disappeared. Hi Dolly, thank you so much for everything you do for the people of TN. If you happen to be at the matinee on the 16th, my mom Jan would LOVE to meet you or see you live. She’s in assisted living since we lost my dad in 2020 and seeing 9 to 5 live is something she wants to do to try and get out more. My family has loved you and your music and your Christian example of charity for as long as I can remember!

As a Middle School Teacher it this is helpful as I improve my skills to share with my students. It would be great if you worked with specific colors for certain materials needed. Wood, metal, fabric so on. Also videos of your work on certain sets would be great to see the process from beginning to end. Thanks.
