I met you at the beginning in Georgia, you had just climbed the steps and was taking a break. I started following your channel, to be honest. I didn't think you would make it. Your complained the whole way. I hope you do a video to talk about your motivation and the reason you even started the trail. If you already did, I missed that one. With that being said, I congratulate for finishing it. It was pretty awesome to see you standing at the sign in Maine. It is probably something I will never set out to accomplish. Great Job.

Hey Ryan…this is Bert…the dog dad to Reese. Yes, you are right, it was cold, damp, and musty in the “dungeon”…and we both agreed the next morning, that was not a comfortable sleep at all. I think Reese was the only one that actually slept well out the five of us and him in that room. But it was a safe shelter for us two and four legged souls. It wasn’t the Ritz, but it was still a blessing. I am so thankful that Reese and I were able to stay somewhere for the night. I really wanted to do the Annomoosuc Trail loop, but I know that I would be caught in darkness coming back down that most dangerous of all the trails on Mt Washington. The manager, Ethan, at the Hut, was a lifesaver for giving Reese and I that bunk. I admire your dedication to conquering the AT. I feel inspired. Maybe one day when the winds are right, I’ll do the AT as well. ….Maybe. I’ll be following along. I’ll be posting all of my content over time. The Mt Washington video may be closer to Thanksgiving due to all the other content I have to edit/create, and publish. If it’s ok with you, I’d like to use that one clip of the dungeon and Reese in it. That was a good shot. Be safe, and keep at it! You’re so close!
