Tim. I can’t believe you are back. I watched your old channel and learned everything from you. I have split around three to four cords a year by hand because of you. Refused to buy a splitter. Falling technique and wood yard set up. Even bought an oversized hand truck for hauling rounds. Just needed it for my insert here in PA. I was upset to see you go but too many jerks in comments.. thanks for all you do!
You have to ignore the neg vibes and go on.
Hey Tim, glad to see you back on Utube. I missed the tree work And double bit splitting. I stole your idea of using a tire and log round for splitting… Thank you sir!
Thank You
Hi Tim, I switched from my maul, that I had been using for years, to an X27 about a dozen years ago. I was astonished at how well it worked. A couple of years after that, I decided to try the Fiskars IsoCore 8lb.. I have been using it almost exclusively ever since first trying it. I think the Helko would be really cool to have, but pretty pricey. I try to get out with my IsoCore almost everyday. I have been hand splitting wood all my life. I have never tried a hydraulic splitter. And really don't want to. I just find it really satisfying to split by hand. Thanks for the videos. And thanks for the song.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed them.
excellent work, interesting to see
Thank you! Cheers!
Tim, you're doing great! Тим ты молодец 👍
Thanks
I like your never give up,this block isn't going to beat me. Good work out.
Yes it is Ronald.
Good job Tim ! That pine is always tough stuff to split, I don't split much with axe anymore it to much for the back, electric splitter in my world now for the big ones,
We usually only have a pair or 2 of jays on the farm in the summer but in the winter we have a tribe that has decided to migrate here each winter. Entertaining birds and they eat an amazing amount from feeders it seems. Good video.
Love your philosophy. Wish more of my firewood split like yours.
My mothers family lives (lived) north of you in Pound Virginia. Near Wise. Adams and Mullins are their last name.
Beautiful stacks of wood!!
Thank you kindly
We live in SW Virginia and it rarely gets below 10 F which is bitter enough for my taste at 72 years. Good channel.
Just curious on where abouts in S.W. Virginia. I have family down in that area.
Address is Eagle Rock. Nearest town is Iron Gate on way toward Covington Va.@@timswoodendeavors
I am real glad to have found you again. For several years now I have always checked out all of your videos. You did a song a few years ago that I used to replay every so often because I just really liked it. I was disappointed when it disappeared and I couldn't find it anymore. Of course I can't quiet remember the tune or the name of the song. But I did really enjoy it and always have enjoyed your channel. So welcome back. I will be out here watching.
Thanks Jim. I wonder which song it was, If you remember let me know maybe I'll play it again for ya.
Great job. Congratulations!
Thank you!
Quite a tangle but nice load of wood for your efforts
Yes, thanks
living the dream...my dad always said a simple life isn't easy. But it sure is fun. Looking forward to my weekend. I have some trees that blew over in a friends yard and I'll be helping myself to that firewood.
Good video. Is firewood a year round venture for you?
It use to be, kinda cut back on it a little. Chainsaw carving has taking some time away from my full time firewood efforts. Still looking for and cutting firewood most of the time. Thanks Johnson.
We have lots of poplar I was told it’s not good firewood what do you think is that your main heating wood
Hey Zippy, I burn poplar mostly early winter and late spring , also use it to get fires going then throw on the hardwood when the colder days are here in Northern Minnesota. Thanks.
Hi Tim. Used to watch your videos and very much enjoyed them on the old channel. I believe it was taken down some years ago and I had worried something had happened. Glad to see the channel and you posting again.
Thanks Alex.
Nice axe
Thanks Sean I don't use it often only if the time is right.
