I got this AX700 bundle from the Walmart website. I show you everything it came with and test the Opteka .3x fisheye in 4:3. The camera is a lot wider than it looks, I compare it to the size of the VX1000. Got the wrong adapter ring, so the 16:9 test isn't fully accurate. Since filming this, I've got the correct step-down ring so the vig looks a lot better in 16:9 (than what's shown in the vide...

You’re gonna need a 62mm-58mm adapter ring for the fisheye to fit the camera. No spacers for 16:9, three 58mm spacers for 4:3. My handle is a cheap top handle I got on Amazon, Hafoko brand. It’s attached to a camera cage that I got from another site. I’ve seen people skip the cage and put the handle directly onto the camera, but I didn’t want to risk it. Nice video. Were you able to remove the vig from the opteka fisheye on the ax700?
With the one adapter ring, there's still a a small amount of vig in the corners. Similar to the vig you see in the Skate 2 lol. But I found a way to film 4:3 and then rescale the horizontal to 16:9 in post. @@joeymartin4095 Btw do you record in 4k or 1080p? i guess you do 4k then downgrade to 1080p later for better quallity? I would love to se the 1080p 60 frames 50mpts mode compered to 4k on this camera! And thanks a lot for the link!!!

The audio problem is because the powerplay for whatever fucking reason needs the cable slightly loose
Lmao, nah not with my cable! I can jam it all the way in no spacer and get a clear signal. It works fine at home but I think when skating it jiggles the cable and fucks the audio. Thanks for the comment btw. I binge watch a lot of your vids haha, big fan!
@Artifact Ward The cable used in this video was a random one I found on Amazon that isn’t good if you want to have audio lol. Since then, I found one that seems to work a lot better. I haven’t skated with it yet to see if it’s full proof but it’s worked in other scenarios with the camera moving around a good amount. Only down side is that the cable is kinda long.
