TRUTH!!
Great interview, Bob. Really enjoyed it
The only way a hawk is going to is u are to close to there nest
If you shoot it or kill it anyway your in trouble
It all depends on if u can do it yourself if u can't then u have to pay for it
Only the strong survive
If im not mistaken there eye site is base on movement
Hey just asking do u fly falcons or just redtails
I dont think they would kill them they would probably trap an move them
There killing the hawks not good they looking at these site
A pigeon, it's considered a nuisance bird.
No color tell u u if it a young bird or adult
The ones that get away those are the ones to keep the ones that get taken are the dummy
U dont know that for sure that that feet are close
It's not just starved kill by other hawks hit by car an so on
Great interview 🫡

Cheer~~~blue powder used to preserve the whiteness of laundry.😊
Alot of pedigree talk. A lot of the old timers have gone this route. If you don't stock the best performer in the air- doesn't take much for the to deteriorate
Great interview. Enjoyed listening to your keen perception and understanding. Thanks for sharing your experience with breeders that when put back in the kit will get back to business fairly quickly. EricRyan
That was awesome

That's how you grow your club and promote the hobby. Excellent.
Great job, guys. Man, you put me on the spot.. thanks for the kind words
My father’s suggestion is outlined below, it has been one of his pet hates from day dot. There’s been a lot of talk about judging lately. Just a suggestion. Why couldn’t folks practise in their backyard with a stopwatch? If one second is the minimum duration, every 0.25 of a second is 0.1. Therefore A 3.5 seconds turn would equate to 2.0 in multipliers. In comps the scorer may have help with this by giving the judge feedback on the duration of the turn so you can cater for the turns with ‘hang time’. Some of the better ones will lift, spin, hang and drop if flown correctly and this is why I haven’t flown a comp since 2002. Merry Christmas everybody!
The clicker works great. Thanks

Joe Roe not selling that man birds that was not watching them is biblical. Don't cast your pearls before swine.
Would like to get Mr. Benders book. Where can I get it.?
Where's that part 2? Lol
Have birds for sale?
💥 👌
I have to disagree that rollers come from tipplers. Rollers we're being developed long before the tipplers. The rollers come from crossing the west of England flying tumblers and some other breeds. That's why rollers come in all the colours and markings that come in west tumblers and many still carry the grouse leg's. English tipplers come from crossing the then Manchester tippers with the west tumbler and Cumulet to give them higher and longer flying. That information came from my late grandad who told me he use to sell and swap his wests with the Manchester tippler fancyers and Birmingham lad's as a teenager back in the 1920-30s ! I'm not saying that he was the only one doing that by a long chalk as many men ans boys done that at the time. The tippler fancyers wanted the west that flu long and high but seldom if ever tumbled and the Birmingham lad's wanted the west that tumbled more than required but didn't fly too long cos they got tired quickly.

Hello Anthony my name is Ian Birkett England .friend of Austin.I listened what you said regarding Kevin's birds .I kept pure Peter harper stuff ex frank pickles.startad in 1992 with 7 or 8 birds directley from peter including.the 1987 rose bowl champion andher half brother .very hard to fly at first for my self novice roller flyer.after about 18 months started to get the hang of them.i thought these are ok I will put some time into them.about 3 years later 1996 won aerc old bird fly 90 outof 100 for quality.about 8 weeks later won uk natainol old bird fly same team.following year won aerc old bird again .following year came 2 nd aerc old bird and won uk natanol oldbird .just kept flyingthem andtrying to put my stamp on them.fast forward to about 2005sh peterharper askedmecould an irish lad ringme regarding some birds .i said yes .kevin got intouch i told him at that time i coul nothelp but if he could wait i would try my best .may be9 months later 3 pair of good adult rollers fou there way from wigan to belfast .one was a cock about 9 year old the hen i told him to pair it to was full sisyer to mybest hen at that timme time later a kit of adult about 16 strong went to him .and later still a good number of oung birds about 4 weeks old.all in all about 3 dozen birds total give or take .i said to him on one ef our many lenghthy phone calls calls if you cantdo any thing with them you may as well pack in.i kept that family pure pickles Harper for 27 years remember I started with 8 birds.i never crossed them .they call them birkett rollers now.over the years I selected my stock with traits that I was looking for so the birds became a bit different from the pickles Harper birds.if you kept rollers all your life we would still be trying to improve them.the birds I sent to Kevin where all ready very tight family.thathadbeen winningflys way back when frank pickles had them then Peter then my self.kevin spreadthem around irelandnorth andsouth and perhapsin a small way they are helping you lads do good withthem pure orcrossed.good luck with your birds how ever they are bred. IanBirkett.
