Directed by Daniel Akaoui (BMus Hons), DrumSpot London is the official UK branch of the Swiss school of drumming DrumSpot. Located in the North London borough of Haringey, the school provides one-to-one tuition in-person and online.
The goal of the school is to teach and promote the art of drumming through high quality one to one tuition and by organising workshops and masterclasses, to prepare the next generation of drummers for a professional or amateur career and to create a community where drummers can share ideas and meet new friends

I love this book because you can practise your rhythmic skills on your own or with other people without any instruments, just using your voice, clap and foot. A must have for any musician!
I've rewritten the notation for the exercise myself adding the foot pattern and also I'm switching the voice pattern with the clap pattern without stopping.
I start with 4 bars each way, then 2 bars each and finally 1 bar each until the end.
Watch the video first and after you get the patterns down, try to practise along with me!

Once Upon A Time I STILL one of my ALL TIME favorite albums! “I Wish You We’re Here” is MY absolute favorite drum track! The groove is so THICK!!!
Did mel have a falling out with the band ?
Jim, Charlie and Ged replaced Mel and Andy with younger musicians for the Acoustic album and proceeded to act like nothing happened. Mel was extremely upset by this because of his loyalty to the band over the years, and struggled financially too. He has refused to be part of books/documentaries as a result.
@@Sphat90 I think you're overcooking things a bit. Mel officially left the band in 2017 after recording the Walk Between Worlds album, he also features in the SM documentary Everything is Possible released last year. Over the years Mel left SM, at will, four times to pursue other projects, his passion was to record and release his own material and to do that he had to retire from touring, and thus from 2018 Cherisse Osei became SM's official drummer.
