Good demo, it's a good pedal, it also stacks well with others, I have one on my board. Keep on rockin'! Merry Christmas!
Thanks for the useful information and demo of the NuX Steel Singer! It's an awesome sounding distortion pedal.
Thanks for a great video! I appreciate you giving us the clean sound first and then going through the many settings of the Bogner Uberschall DP; it has a beautiful what I call a clean distorted sound. The boost button gives the pedal an added dimension when playing live. Keep up the good work!
Is that pickguard flat black?
Man, I really love your videos, straight forward informations, no bullshit, the cigar, the nice playing. You've got style, greetings from Italy
Thanks for the informative video on the MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe. I think I could spend many hours adjusting the settings to get different sounds and effects! Great job!
Thank you for the review... simply brutally wicked!! Very informative indeed!! CHEERS from Costa Rica!!
ps a good & useful demo
A cigar & a wah seems a good combo 😊
Ok, the MXR Reverb sounds great. Thanks for the in depth demo! Also enjoyed the extended blues jamming in this video!
I enjoyed the Holiday versions of your videos. The review of the TC Electronic Ditto Looper was spot on. Super useful for the solo gigging artist. Happy Holidays to everyone at Two Hands and a Face!
I think these circuits are just the Distortion + with the clipping diodes removed
I haven't looked at the schems, but I'm sure they're going for simplicity of design. And the end result is useful. Keep watching - we value your observations!
Great demo of the MXR Micro Amp! I enjoyed the video!
The MXR Micro Chorus sounds great! Thanks for demoing.
Beautiful sound indeed
Love the intro!
Great review. Thanks. I have to buy one now.
I bought a used S sire Hollow body electric (Similar in design to the 330 or 339 Gibson) It plays great. I’m very satisfied with it. This S Teli looks great as well but the tone seems a little less crisp compared to a genuine Telecaster. (I’m basing this off my memory of one that I played a couple of times in the past.) Perhaps it’s because he is playing with his fingers vs a pick? Not certain. Having said all that, I would most likely consider buying one of these vs a squire tele
Very well could be - Tele's are known for their cut-through. I'd very much like to own both!
Sorry buddy, you're showing the specs for the new made in japan dinky which is not what you're holding
You're right. Good catch. The additional photos and specs should be highlighting the model that's made in Mexico and the HH pattern, which is Humbucker on Humbucker.
Yessir, he's playing a PRO-MOD DK24 HH 2PT CM in gloss black.
aw f***. And I just broke in my new Telecaster. And I deliberately chose it as a modding guitar. Oh well. Best believe the H7 was next on my list. [edit: Not totally sold on the pickups. The classic telecaster pickup is what makes it virtually everyone's "desert island" guitar -- the size of the bridge pickup, the huge piece of medal under the neck pickup and how it's screwed right into the wood instead of the pickguard -- IOW, it's not a Strat with two pickups instead of three; it's a TELECASTER. The neck can be as flutey as you want, the bridge has that growl that's hard to find on any other guitar. My ears also might be hearing the brass saddles: I know they're classic, but I prefer steel. Brass is just a bit too bright: brass saddles and a treble bleed and you're two steps away from a banjo.] [edit2: your strings seem awfully loose. The saddles are pretty far up the body -- you sure you wouldn't be better off with a heavier gauge? Just to give you more metal to tighten so there's less string flop.]
Well, a Tele is damned fine instrument. With both in your stable, you'll be ready for anything!
The Sire T7 looks and sounds amazing! Thanks for the great demo of this guitar! I will definitely check this one out!
Run it in stereo to 2 power amps, and go full Motley Crue! 😮
That's a really nice guitar but if it's the same one you keep showing pictures of on screen it's not a torrefied maple neck it's actually wenge. Maybe they produced 2 different models, not that it matters the guitar looks and sounds killer!
Ah my Peavey vyper amp has a better chorus built in
Great video! The Fender Rumble amps sound great; they produce a myriad of tones to compliment all levels of bass playing!
All hail the Bassist!
I WANT ONE
Get one, my friend! They are modestly priced!
These are awesome amps!
Truly!
Thanks for posting! I learned some things about the Charvel guitar I previously did not know so thanks for the details on the guitar!
Thanks, Brother!
Great demo! Can this amp play quietly?
Thanks and good question! It can! You can set it for higher gain and then lower the master volume to reign in the decibels.
@@stevenwhitworth3292 I think this is an almost perfect amplifier! Do you know in which country they are collected?
Thank you for posting this great video on the EVH 5150 amp. The EVH 5150 has amazing clean and distorted sounds. I will be checking one out soon!
Love ya, Todd!
Great video, subbed!
Very interesting! Even this old git slinger is intrigued. The clean channel sounds better than I’d expect. Good video thanks for sharing
Thanks for that, my friend! It truly has a sweet clean sound. Whoda thunk it?
Excelente demonstração. Parabéns.
Thank you, my friend!
Pretty nice, especially, bang for buck. Any thoughts compared to something like a Blues Jr or Pro Jr?
Great sounding amps both - just different tonal character. The Sonz is a lot, shall we say, "creamier" in the distortion channel. Truly has that saturated transformer kind of sound. Of course, ya can't go wrong with a Blues Jr. - beautiful amp.
Hi, I heard in some reviews a big amount of noise due to p90 pickup. It's needed a noise gate for this when gtr is plugged in? There are weak points on this gtr? It's just perfect?
Of course, there's bound to be a little noise on any pickup that isn't a humbucker, but I've gigged with on many an occasion without a gate. Noise is negligible. Is it perfect? I believe that within it's own category (a budget archtop), it is. Great questions! Thanks!
Why are teethmarks on your guitar not cool?
Well... I guess they could be...
🤣
Thanks for posting another great video for the gigging musician! As you know having volume control at your finger tips or feet in this case; makes for a much more dynamic range of sounds the audience will love. Really digging the tuner out feature too!
Great point! As it happens, I haven't played a guitar with my feet in several years...
Thanks for posting about the TC Sub N Up. I think it gives you an expanded range of guitar tones while maintaining the integrity of the chords. I'll be checking this pedal out soon.
You should! It's a lot of fun
Nice dick!
I just tried one of these out used at GC the other day , never even considered one ,but I was impressed , it’s very versatile, I may pick it up , subscribed 👍
Let us know if you get one!
And I may add, excellent video
Thank you, my friend. More coming.
I bought this amp from a friend of a friend who needed to get rid of it due to health problems. There was no instruction manual and I did not have time to research what some of the controls like ISP and voice actually did. This video explained it very well. I was contemplating selling this amp Because I was using my Marshall instead preferentially. This video will make me reconsider that seriously. My only beef is that the foot switch voice switch does not work. I took the foot switch apart and there is a broken wire and I do not know which connection to solder it to. It is the black wire again on the voice switch that seems to jump to the channel switch. But as to which lead I do not know. if you do, I’d be very grateful if you replied to this comment and let me know
I haven't actually opened one of these, so I'd hate to give you the wrong information. I'm betting that if you google it, you can find a quick answer. Yeah, the voicing control gives you some amazing tonal options. Good luck!
@@stevenwhitworth3292 thank you!
You talk to much, get to the point 👉
The point is - buy this guitar!
More playing, less talking would have helped...
Hear ya. But what can I say? I'm a chatty bastard... Go give one a try!
Dude, stop talking with the pick in your mouth. 🤣
"Pick?" Nevah! It's actually a ceegar... but I'll try to be more articulate.
Any noise issues? I got one secondhand, and the hum is awful. With the amp on 0.
Not so far. Bought mine used also, but to date, nice and quiet. If you haven't already, try it plugged into different outlets around your home and/or rehearsal space. Sometimes a residual noise in the absence of input signal indicates a 'line' noise coming from the electrical wiring of the structure you're in. Good luck with it!
That was a problem with the earlier version, I understand that they've addressed the issue with the newer ones.
Bought mine used also, but luckily, no noise issues at all. Good luck with that - so many things that it could be.
@@johnfarthing9384 I read that, too - tip of the hat to them for addressing an issue. I got lucky and bought a quiet one
I’ve had 2 of these. I used them as the last pedal in my effects loop to give a volume boost. It does it incredibly well. No popping. No added color. Great price too. Unfortunately……….the reason I don’t have a 3rd one is the switch on the previous 2 eventually wore out and it wouldn’t always engage. Could be just my bad luck or my heavy foot.
Mine has held up so far - better luck on your next one
Bummer. I, too, have a bit of a hard step - I've been trying to watch it some. Good luck and thanks for tuning in and sharing with us!
That guitar is not really comparable to a vintage Gibson. It is a laminated pressed top and back. I have repaired one where the braces had cracked and come loose. They were glued in with epoxy on the ends which was forcing the top into its arched shape. There's basically nothing inside of it. Must be pretty cheap to manufacture. Having said all that it is a very nice guitar to play and it does sound great through the pickup. The neck is particularly comfortable and easy to play.
😮
Guitars are meant to have nothing but air inside. That’s how you get an excellent tone.
@@devangmetha TBF there's not much tone to one of these as acoustics. The tone comes from the p90 pickup.
@ Check. This is probably the humbucker, same as the Kingpin HB.
A plectrum guitar is a 4 string guitar version of a plectrum banjo.
Good point, good info, my friend. But eventually, archtop sixers also became known as plectrum guitars - perhaps improperly
I love mine,
As do I!
