I CAUGHT FISH FROM MY WORK - FISHING CAMDEN / REGENTS CANAL
Not actually Croydon canal. Officially it's the Surrey docks canal.
@chrisdavies3572 this is the information I need. Why is it referred to croydon canal. Surrey docks makes more sense
Glad you are interested. From Surrey docks the canal came inland from the Thames. It crossed underneath the old Kent road and under the railway line between new cross and London bridge heading toward Peckham.. it rose through a flight of locks. There are three railway bridges, forest hill, penge, and Norwood junction. Look at them carefully and it becomes clear they in fact canal bridges. From Norwood junction an original towpath is now an access road for rail track vehicles. Between selhurst goods yard and east Croydon there remains a lock that was converted into part of the junction and on the Croydon side of the there is or was a road known as towpath way. The canal came to an end on what is now east Croydon station.
Awful video. Caught tiddlers.
Whenever I visit my local fishery, a Robin always pops over to say hello. I always think of my Grandad.
Fuck fishing there, far too anxiety inducing for me lol.
Keston Ponds could be a good shout, one of the smaller ponds would be interesting to see if there is fish in it.
Great idea will defiantly check it out
The last few times we've taken our Grandaughter over to Kelsey Park in Beckenham there a little stretch of water near the Becks it's a run off from the main lake, it goes under a road then pops up again runs pasts a few house then goes into an underground canal possibly, but there's this one little bend where I always save a couple of slices of bread as I know there's quite a few small fish around the 6inch mark some seem bigger. I hate it as I'd love to dip my rod in lol but don't want to upset the little one, also I can't stand getting moaned at, a school boy trait I still can't shift, I just end up peeing people off lol. There are No no Fishing Signs though. Their quite slim and very zippy with I think Black tops and silver bottoms. Don't think fishing is allowed but know the lake is fished a night.
Sexist fisher on the net
Nobody else brave enough to fish croydon 💪
Peng
ANOTHER banger
@@isaachirsch-parker1888 love you man xx
Get down the Wandle…I fished it this summer and …we’ll actually I didn’t get a bite but there’s big barbel and shoals of roach as well as trout around Merton abbey mills and Tooting and Mitcham FC
@@andysteggals2745 you should check my other videos out fish the wandle a lot catch quite a lot
Be safe, mate
I run fast hahhaha
Get your money back mate
That’s Betts park, it’s Anerley, not Croydon mate. There used to be fish in there years ago, but your better off going to Crystal Palace or South Norwood lakes, or even the wandle in Croydon
@@nickflitter7172 cr0 croydon buddy
Barely any wandle in Croydon. Before going off to sutton
Anerley is in the borough of bromley ….croydon is 3 miles down the road
@telemusic69 google croydon canal my dude
Nice video mate, gonna give the wandle a crack with my brother. Tight lines!
Amazing support from me!!. We're just seen as prey from all angles?!!?
There are even less pleasant stretches of canal in London. Try the Regents Canal in Hackney if you're feeling extra brave.
@@marcharley6465 will definitely try it for you !!! Done regents canal in camden on my other video
Why you talking like a black gangster
Terapin Police what a cuck anyways Charlie Great watch mate keep it up g!
Yes Charlie, try the pool river in Lower Sydenham next
For you I will check it out !!!!
South Norwood Lakes was originally a water reservoir for the Croydon canal system and that does have plenty of fish in it , also a nicer area. ;)
There's big ole carb in there.
Thats got a row of flats written all over it
@andypeutherer4218 100 percent it's a shame it's like this now.
I love the honesty. This was a great video.
Stop watching my videos your making me blush 😊 😂

London has turned into a dangerous dump.
That was great! Worth a look but don’t you dare touch the terrapins! lol Tight lines.
Terrapins in a canal?
@joesmith9563 the canal is pretty much a large pond at this point. Nothing like adding invasive species to the waters
Mate, i walked past there last week and thought i might pop back for a "gorilla" session........dont think i will now lol. Deffo worth a sub 👍
I reckon it could be good in a year or so but because they dregged it they removed everything. A lot can change in a year Thank you for subbing
Was he saying he stocked the sticklebacks or the ‘turtles’ ? What in the job seekers allowance was he talking about - he can’t even correctly identify the species
Great vid mate, it’s hard work trying to fish these urban places!
Adds to the fun ahhaha bring on the Karen's !!! If you fancy teaming up let me know !!!!!
@@CharlieDoesFishing1 I’m out of the country for a while but when I get back I’d be up for that deffo! You’ve got a good thing going here mate il be watching along 👀
Was that a stickleback?
Baby fish dooo dooo dooo doooo
@@CharlieDoesFishing1 🤣🤣 I haven’t caught sticklebacks in ages. Was lovely seeing them dart around back in the day. As for Croydon, Jesus Christ, that guy hasn’t stocked it with anything. Loon. Probably nothing of note in there tbh. That first one looked half dead.
@ZoltanHercules they was all starving apparently they dragged and removed everything a couple months prior
Mate it's shit, you can't fish anywhere safely anymore, take care.
I learnt as youngster if you get a feeling then flee hahhah
@@CharlieDoesFishing1 Khans London...
