There are other 2 prominent candidates also one among which is from SP( congress -ally). Bjp will allow him but not shyam rangeela, I don’t think so. That is just playing victim in my opinion.

I think roads to the interior parts of the country is not just important it should be a fundamental rights for our communities living in those areas, comparing old days where there were no roads but a better environment is hypocritical and romanticization at the cost of our hard working border communities. its their right to demand for equal development. Just the way India advocate for developed countries to pay for under developed or developing countries to maintain their forest cover, other state should bear the cost for uttarakhand. there are other options for the government like yearly caps on number of visitors and so on. but roads are needed, now roads are constructed thats a different thing.
