Finally haha, I managed to spear a fish on video that also Gordon Ramsey himself approves of! I also want to take the time thank everybody for the kind comments and support on my videos!

Unfortunately I didn't manage to catch a single fish, but got a pretty good cinematic video out of that crazy 3 day adventure in Glenbeg, Kerry. This is officially my first proper UA-cam video and there will be lots more to come! My Instagram is in the Header of my channel

What mm wetsuit would you use in ireland?
@@francismurtagh3295 I use a two piece 5mm open cell wetsuit here in ireland all year around. It keeps me warm for my dives. In the winter you can use 5mm for short 1-2hr dives but i recommend 7mm for winter.

Hey man, good diving video, helpful reaserch ahead of traveling to Kerry. It looks spectacular - hopefully much clearer than up in Sligo, Donegal. Many thanks. One little note - when you are saying "in spearfishing it is important that you take your time and hit the fish the right way" (in full agreement), than you cannot show your first two shots barely under the side skin of the poor sods... A bit cruel. And not great advertising for the sport... On a more positive note, well done for the nicely produced video

Where did you buy your stuff for spearfishing, is there any shop in lreland?
@@romkademian There are limited dive shops in ireland. I personally bought mine on website called diveinn, they seem to have the cheapest prices and ship from Spain.

What type of licence for spearfishing i need in ireland
You do not need a lisence to spearfish in Ireland, you only need a lisence to use a pneumatic speargun. 😉

@@rokovidovic4705 I'm not sure, I use speaguns with rubber bands, I'm under the impression that the lisence for the pneumatic speargun is for safety

How long can you hold your breath for? 😂
My static breath hold is at 2min currently however once I'm in the water moving I generally don't go over 1min

Great vid. Where do you get a speargun in ireland? I tried a few fishing stores and coukdnt find one.
I usually buy mine from diveinn, they ship from Spain and have the cheapest prices going.

5mm is all you need, 7mm is good for winter but I feel it's a bit too much for summer

Nice one. Just try not to drink coffee, or use any other form of caffeine before your dives. Cofeine dehydrates and doesn't help to get your heart rate down

The kids and I really enjoyed the video! Keep showing the underwater scenery and different sea creatures. The kids loved the crabs. I really enjoyed the drone footage and melodic aerial transitions. I know what it’s like trying to make videos with a temperamental sea. Keep at it it’s worth it.

Fabulous video 🙂👏👏 , also are the White Sea Urchins local to the area you spear dived in or are they a invasive species ?
It's native. I dive the area a lot but the urchins are further along the cliffs where I usually don't dive.
