Taking Overlanding Rigs Down a Buggy Trail

In this video we are taking on the gnarliest trail yet. It's known as granite dunes and it was an absolute struggle. What was supposed to be a day trip out wheeling in the Jeeps turned into a 13 hour of driving time spanning over 2 days to complete 5 miles of trail. Locals Call This Trail Mini Whipsaw (We Found Out Why)

Mini Whipsaw is a trail that exactly a year ago shaun, Malcom, and Colin attempted. Shortly into their wheeling trip an axle shaft snapped leaving them with few options and resorting to pulling Colins old land cruiser out on makeshift wood blocks. Today we take a crack at a Redemption run in hopes of not repeating the past. We have all been warned to be prepared to break something or take body ...

Then I just really wanted to how to what length I could push this light bar. So I put it through the harshest durability test I could. the results blew me away. Surprised you didn't get the bumpers at the same time? Lol. Front one has got to go. You need a stubby to make the front look proportional. Same for the rear. Motobilt front stubby and an LoD destroyer rear full width corners to mate to your rear fenders and provide rear corner protection. That would look nice !. I've got the rugged ridge (without the bull bar) stubby and the LoD rear but I'm on 38's and Rubicon axles with offset wheels. Very proportional and the lateral stability off camber is very noticeable.

Once had an issue with my rear resonator catching rocks and stumps. 5 min with a sawzall and I created a dump off the rear axle to eliminate the issue. Dropped the rear bumper on a boulder and popped it loose. Took an angle grinder to it for clearance then did zip ties on the inside of the cover so it could flex without popping out next time. Awesome video.

Man I really love these types of videos but it cracks me up when you guys act like you're one of the first people to go out there and do these trails. I think I'm going to watch the beginning of this trip to see if you name this trail I want to see when it was established if it was back in the 60s are you kidding me. There is no four-wheel drive technology if it was back in the seventies are you kidding me the tires only got bigger. If it was the early eighties in late 70s you might have something. But I believe these trails were developed long back in the fifties and if they can do it in an old jeep that they got from the war then seriously those aren't motorcycle trails on both sides of the road those aren't dune buggy trails on both sides of the road. Those aren't even forerunners that work developed until after the 80s when a three-wheeler was a killer machine meaning it kills a lot of people because it only have three wheels. Razors and vehicles like that you're not come out until the 90s. Again I love these videos but when you guys pretend like you're the first ones out there and there's already tracks you coming off a little bit 🤡'S
