I was in East Glacier cow a day but unfortunately didn't have a time to go ride Going to the sun road. Definitely wanna go back on ride it, it looks incredible 🤩👍
I would love to try this next June or July. I’m not a local so what dates do you recommend booking a hotel to get that window when Going To The Sun is open but just to cyclists? I was thinking maybe mid June to early July but any insight you might be able to provide would be helpful!! And thank you for sharing this video!! Looks incredible!!
Really depends on the snow. I would suggest to check our snow depth around March, this will give you some help, but I think you're best bet is early/mid June. I've been almost to Logan early May on some years. Waiting until July is chancy on most years. Follow the hiker/biker info that GNP has on their website
What you said makes sense. So early to mid June but check the snow report to see how much snow Glacier got. Great advice. Glad I asked since I was thinking early July but you think that might be too late. Thank you!!
@@WholePlantFoodForLife The road is usually open by July 4th
🤗Saigon street (Vietnam) thank you for sharing good video. Wishing you good health and success
awesome....wish i could have joined you and Steve
How long did this take?
We came in through Waterton / Goat Haunt (by boat) and crossed back into the US. Hiked in and camped in the upper west bowl of Mt Cleveland (need a park permit). Started climbing at about 6am the next morning, summitted, and got back to Goat Haunt to catch the late boat back to Waterton.
Down is always more difficult than up. Change my mind.
Was that late may?
May 6th
Awesome vistas. Perfect song too.
What year it was ?
Life celebration. Inspiring.
Great video.
Good stuff.
Not for me👀
Love the Steven Tyler song rocking down the sun road 🚵♂️
is this the west route that you took? And camped up in the Basin?
Awesome. That's exactly what I plan to do. How was that climb to the ridgeline? Was it all class 3? You don't happen to have the route you took on GPS by chance do you? Thanks
It was all class 3 or less, I don't remember anything more difficult than that. None of us happened to track it on GPS, unfortunately. I don't recall the route finding to be that difficult
awesome Thanks.
Hey Stacy - thanks for putting the video together and sharing! How far did you actually make it up? I rode yesterday up to The Loop (ua-cam.com/video/02c4d5JsU24/v-deo.html) and was absolutely pooped so I didn't make it the extra mile and a half past that haha
we were stopped right after Avalanche. Looking forward to riding up as far as we can.
I bet - if you didn't already know there's a road status page on the park's website (home.nps.gov/applications/glac/roadstatus/roadstatus.cfm)
Hi Stacy its me Carson
It is so beautiful. I can't wait to see it in person.
Hi
Happy birthday Shelby
Can you hire bikes in may? our is the shutte bus going then alraidy? Thanks! Looks great! Can't wait to be there!
Thank you for sharing.
So beautiful. Such a special area...
How PERFECT to have II Divo singing Halleleujah!!!
Kick over the offensive cairn! Show respect to the mountain! Thanks!
Steven Thaw i just have to say, cairns normally are meant to show dangers, directions, and points of interest on off trail routes. A summit cairn should not be knocked over because it is a point of interest. However, go crazy on those cairns you find on trails, good riddance to those.
This video brought tears to my eyes! Great vide Stacy. Thanks for sharing this awesome moment in Shelby's life. Shelby, we are so proud of you and the impact you have on those around you!!
Great video Stacy!!

Good job Kramer and Steve. Are you a Rock and Roll regular? What do you like about this race? Thanks.
