New Colony Six 2002 - Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees
One of the most underrated bands ever. Beautiful songs and beautiful voices!
This song just plucks my heartstrings. Seeing them singing it “live” is a treat.
N.C.Six was my first ever concert in 1966 in Chicago at the Grant Park Bandshell. I was 12 years old. They also had the Buckinghams and Shadows of Knights playing their hits. This furthered my love for music which I still play on guitar and drums. Many of their songs are co-dependent songs, but they're filled with love. Music is the direct communication between souls. I'm happy for these guys to have their day in the Hall of Fame. I hope to see them in Heaven if they love God, all follow His Son, Jesus.
This song was a monster hit in my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky in 1968. Placed in the Top 5 on the year-end countdown on our local AM station. GREAT song that brings back so many memory.
I love you guys. So many memories with your songs when music made me believe in love.
Was the group badfinger ever put in Rock and roll hall of fame
No.
neither were these guys
I really Dig " Hold me in your Eyes ".......... Ray Sings it perfectly { He wrote the number }.
God knows they deserved it!
They played (debuted) this song for the first time at our high school. Thornridge H.S. Dolton,IL Loved it❤
Oh wow! What a memory.
Any idea why this song isn't available on iTunes?
I think NCS could still make money on these songs right now. They are beautiful and flowing❤️🦋
The New Colony Six is a fantastic band. I think their music could make a bigger hit today than it did back in the 1960's 1970's
Several members went to same HS I did. Rumor has it they were told to get their hair cut. Big mistake. They should have stayed there.
They were great
