Do you take the middle of the hat liner to the top of the Hat somehow so it doesn't fall down
Where did u buy the hot plate for the iron?
Do u use a specific type of alcohol is used inHat making

Hi! Can you make a video about Top Hat making tutorial just like Barnum's hat in The Greatest Showman. Love your videos a lot
You are wonderful! Thank you
I have noticed these people who make these videos NEVER tell where they get the Hats from. They just dont respond even though several people have asked. I always send a thumbs down
Un gros MERCI, vous d'une grande gentillesse et générosité!❤
Top job the 007 Chinese evil agent used to throw his bowler hat to hurt his opponents sort of like Boris Basra off and Natisha from Bullwinkle and rocky J squirrel used Hurt their enemies Bullwinkle moose also played a character L kabon where you would hit the person with his guitar
❤ VERY INFORMATIVE, LOVED YOUR VIDEO ❤ !!!
Can you comment on the proper way to restore a woman's wide (make that very wide) brim straw sun hat that was damaged because the seller shipped it by stuffing it in a flimsy envelope and mailed it. The few tips I read online were from non-professional hat handlers and their tips didn't work for me. What do you say on that topic?
Merci infiniment pour vos trucs, vous êtes très professionnelle et j'adore votre personnalité, merci encore du Québec , Canada
i would love to see how to make an indo-aryan phallus / pointed Hat from the past. (if i look on ebay there is only halloween stuff but not a serious Hat available.. so i guess i have to create it by myself)
Super cool. I love Fedoras, and I'm definitely going to make one😊
can I apply it on rabbit felt for a rigid structure? 🙂thanks
You're awesome! Thanks for the great tutorials! I'm just now getting started. Well, still in the research phase but purchased a hat block so I can turn back now. Love your videos! Thank you for your willingness to help others learn the trade.
lo destroso los sombreros
A+ on honesty but flat cap sweing ;-)
I would like to make a beret using a wooden hat block with Milton fabric is that possible and where can I get tutorials to learn please ❤
Thank you for sharing I really want to start wearing hats however I have alot of hair which make my head larger than the average so I never can find a hat that fits my vibe or me. So I thought I should make one myself
Not what I expected from this video....then again, I'm pretty new to the process so I don't know what I expected. I thought you were wonderful at explaining the steps. Don't worry about rambling; I do it too sometimes. It seems you're bursting to let your thoughts out. Don't hold back. I appreciate the time you put into this. 😉
You didn't tell us what the hat rolling device is called, so we don't know what to ask for
Calling the pandemic a kerfuffle is legendary
my 3x 100% wool felt cowboy hat has pretty much no stiffness left. would i be able to use the shellac in this video to spray my hat and give it some body back?
do you make your caplines or you just bay them >
Very interesting and helpful. As a complete millinary novice, your way of explaining makes it so easy to follow. Thank you.
Love your hats!!
How do you get the hat before starting anything?
Real Shellac is brown. Doesnt that change the color? How often does a wool felt hat need to be stiffened? Often? Are you aware they have a hat worn by Constance Hopkins who came on the Mayflower? Its crown is Sugarloafed? kind of tall and the brim is medium wide with a slight up turn. Her father Stephen is an ancestor of mine. An old guy I knew used to take old records, break them into pieces ,and soak them in alcohol. That was how he made shellac. The old records were shellac disks. Zinser used to make Bullseye shellac to cover knots in wood. Probably a different recipe today. Great video.
I've used the spray shellac on white and it hasn't discolored. I Always do a test patch first on all my lighter colors. The shellac flakes tend to be darker but can be thinned to avoid discoloration. Always test anything you feel may stain or leach color. All hats I make are stiffened to maintain their shape. And it usually takes many years and lots of wear to need to re-block and re-stiffen
Bless you gal! Thanks for your video. 🙏
Hi! This tutorial is excellent. One question! Can you recommend a size for the hat brim puller? I was thinking it was just a standard size but in my research I am seeing I need to select a size. Do you have a suggestion for that?
Do you have a website? Or someplace where we could contact you? Facebook? This was very exciting to me
Which felt did she use ?
Used both rabbit fur felt and wool felt. I prefer rabbit or beaver they are much easier to use and give a cleaner finish.
How to cut it and fold
Спасибо за вдохновение🎉❤
Que material usa para hacer ese sombrero??
Can a feller take a oilskin hat,and remove a couple centimeters frum the crown if its 2 tall fer his likein?
Yes you would have to take the hat apart trim the bottom of the crown put it back together and re block it 😄
@@GreenBunnyHats re block it? Is that sumpthin n e one can do,or should I git skilled help? I can kinda run a thred n needel but don't wanna ruin my lid....
@@ahilbilyredneksopinion this would be something to send to a milliner if you are wary of doing it they can shorten and re block for you
@@GreenBunnyHats thank u...do I just look up a milliner near me,or is there a differnt name fer the profession? And thanks so mutch fer the info and responses n sutchlike....
@@ahilbilyredneksopinion a hatter or milliner is the term. Hat shops often have someone they recommend for hat repair, as well as some high end suit shops that sell hats
Cool, thanks. 👍
Where do you purchase the hats at ? I’m just getting started in this and struggling finding good hats. Do the hats come with the design or do you put the design on it yourself ? Thank you for posting the video 🥰

Come back and make more videos! Thanks so much !
"Nobody wants to look at me." That is absolutely not true. You are a good looking woman and you have put so much effort into your outfit, and those glasses are stunning. But hey, even if you weren't a joy to behold, you clearly have so many other talents that display a depth of character that is of far more worth than your appearance.
Hi, Bunny. Your video is really well-done. I like that you show the techniques clearly. You mentioned that you are in Florida. What city are you in? I am new to hat making and am working with raffia. Do you know where I can find a hat block for a boater type crown that would not be super expensive like a wood block? I would like it to be the size of my head also: 21 1/2". I want to do a red fedora hat also, and need a hat block for that as well that I can afford.
Sad to see a stop in videos. Thanks for these. Learned a lot.
Que tipo de feltro você usa, e espessura?
Absolute hunny. Easy to listen and follow Thanking you!
Iam love hat flowers,
