I am in America and I had no interest at all in hip hop or rap. 2 months ago I discovered BTS’ music and they opened the door for my interest in hip hop/rap. At present I only listen to RM, Agust-D and JHope at the moment but at least now I’m interested in it and enjoying it.

Kpop fans can be silly and delusional . While I can Appreciate some groups /artist doesn’t change the reality . The majority of the K-pop scene is filled with hormonal/pscho fans, talentless idols, corrupt companies, abuse of employees, and lack of creativity. There’s literally nothing original about any of these songs/concepts . They recycle ♻️, reuse, and repurpose ideals /dances/ clothing from other groups and cultures ( mainly black/western cultures) and try to market it as their own . And the few times we see a group with talented artist , the companies and stupid fans mess it up . K-pop does not actually value talent .

If you mean “K-pop” in the strict idol sense, then I get where you’re coming from. However, “pop music” (in the broadest sense) can mean ANY form of popular music. This includes genres (especially rock/rap/hip hop) that aren’t traditionally categorized as “pop.” Korean music is no exception. If a Korean non-idol musician is popular enough to be “mainstream”, then they count as K-pop.

Also trying to ruin DPR'S reputation and all their tirelessly hard work!!! If Scott was truly sorry he would have apologised face to face to DABIN, and IAN. Not through social media and he wouldn't have put all of the DPR members through psychological hell!!!
