Everyone is asking about something that you already have a video for, here on UA-cam, called "Short n 1 Stranded colorwork with no floats for beginner, fair isle" (something like that). Actually you have this video and another one with similar name called "Podcast" were you show the technique. The technique is also shown in hundreds of videos about colorwork and the way you catch the yarn and put the 2 strands on top of each other is always the same. The only difference here is that you catch the yarn every 2 stitches....which is a great technique and the inside looks so clean. But again, the creator has such videos where he shows how to do it for knit and purl. People coming with absurd demands never considering that you probably have a life too, other than UA-cam. People are really lazy! A simple search would give them all they want!!

Love what you do. I’d love to do this. Yes please do share your method on YT, not being a fan of social media I’ve missed those videos. Do you ever steek your work to avoid knitting flat? I’m always challenged to keep guage when switching from in the round to flat.

You can do intarsia with Rick Mondragon sliding loop method. So you knit your color, carrying your strand ( magic loop) finish the row of color, then instead of turning and purling you next backwards to the right, then set up the sliding loop on the next row. I’ve a beautiful image of it and instructions I’ll send your way ❤

I think a series of videos would be good specifically for UA-cam, covering all basics and techniques. I would also suggest you make them with a total beginner in mind. There is a well known expression... "Explain to me as if I was a five year old." I've been knitting for 50+ years and tbh, I can't follow easily at all. ( Just a few suggestions, not criticism). Mx

How do you increase with strandless knitting. I see both colors and not sure which to increase.

Can this method by used with 3 colors?

The colours from Gorgeous Yarns are beautiful.

We got lost in the maze there, gave up without reaching the middle. The next time we went we had our four year old granddaughter with us and she led us to the middle! The book sounds great.

Always ask for comments too as that helps your algorithm on YT.

Thanks for sharing. I really like your method of catching floats. My basic instinct told me to do it that way too. in my sweaters. Sometimes though I became insecure because I see many knitters catching floats after 3-5 stitches. I often used their method in socks and it always turned out that the socks were difficult to put on.
