Hey. Nice car. Just wondering how you run the cable from your solar panel into your car. Trying to do something similar with my PS
Hi I have run it through the tailgate runner bot grommett and then under the roof lining and down the side lining. Then to get from the solor battery to the car battery I have run through a grommet in the bottom of the wheel well. Hope this helps when I get a chance I can post some pics for you
Cheers if you could post som pics
@@yvonnepoor1366 hi I have just posted a shorts on how I ran the solar wire

Hi, nice video! Are you happy with xtm drawer fridge? I want to buy it. And do you maybe know where I can buy it in Europe
Yeah very happy
Would love to see a video on your battery setup!
Thanks for watching. I will try and get a more detailed one up for you
Hi Guys great video I have bought the 120ah too just setting it up would it be possible to put up a pic of the settings needed on the monitoring app smart things if that's what you used cheers

When you connect it to the battery to the Bluetooth module and open the app it will automatically tell you all the information of the battery. It is recommended not to change these perimeters as they are factory set. You will see it will come up that it is 100ah in the app not the 120ah. When I looked through the app there is nothing needed to change.

Thanks for doing this test. I have a pair of 100Ah Eco-Worthy batteries and at 0.1C discharge that get the full 100Ah, but only 95Ah at 0.2C load (which is the standard test). Good to know thr DC Mont batteries are at least in the ball park. That power bolt is a joke, Ive seen similar results from the Mobi batteries.
Yeah the mobi battery I had before this dc battery was a joke. But the mobi 200ah batteries I have in the caravan tested at 210ah surprisingly. I ran the test 5 times on them as I couldn’t believe it. But I wouldn’t buy them again

I like your UA-cam channel
Hi guy's I hope all is well I bought a 300ah DCmont battery Is the victron 100/50a std lithium profile OK for these or is there a different setting needed Not much info around so I thought I'd ask before I stuffed it up Cheers all
Hey Andrew so far I think I’ve had my dc mount batteries for 12 month and they are still going strong 💪 the Victron 100/50 is it the smart solar or bluesolar? Either way great units especially connected to their app. It is perfectly fine with the lithium settings for this battery. I also use the victron smart shunt that gives you all the info going in and out of your batteries as well. Depending on the use of your setup you might want to look int the shunt. Happy Camping
Thanks for the info Been looking at a smart shunt Stay safe guys and enjoy Cheers
Hey mate Like the video mate
Thanks
Cheers mate
Hi Are you still using the DCMont batteries and how are they working for you. Not a lot of info on them I can find. Cheers
Hi yes still using them and I have had no problems at all with them and has been about 8 months now
Thank you for the info.stay safe cheers
Just found your channel and subscribed Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the sub!
Hi there, what is that nudge bar? It looks great!
The nudge bar was factory fitted when I purchased the car at Mitsubishi
Hi mate, I have the same vehicle. Nice setup, but how do you access the spare wheel bolt with the XTM drawers installed?
Hi it is possible to cut a piece of the bracket away so as to get a socket in there. But I have a puncture repair kit and a small compressor instead. My worse case I can pull the draw out completely to access it.
Hi, Just watched yr video. Good work. Just fyi. It won’t matter what temp you set the temp at, the compressor will draw the same amps. The difference will be for how long. Eg 0degrees may run for 15 mins before it cycles compared to 2degrees may run for 10 mins before cycling. A little tip the more food content in the fridge the better it will hold temp so therefore run less time and use less of yr battery. I’m a fridge technician by trade, hope this helps. I love kings products and have done some reviews Cheers Craig Out There Touring
Hey mate do you know if the kinds slide fridge is any good bears bad and good things about it
@@ryleecharlton5758 Hi Rylee, To be honest I’ve never really looked at them. A lot of people will give negative feedback about anything with kings brand on it. If they come with ab5yr warranty then they must be fairly reliable. If it does die after that period then you can buy another one with 5yr warranty and I bet yr still in front with $$$. All appliances will die at some point it doesn’t matter how much you spend on it. I used to work for a manufacturer and it wouldn’t matter if you purchased the $700 fridge or the $1800 the fridge at some point it will break down. Cheers Craig Out There Touring
True on that I’ve had no problems with kings
I’ve had no problems with it at all
Cheers
Looks nice. There a nice car
Thanks
Good video. I’ve got 2 XTM drawers on top of each other in my car. I run a piece of 16mm marine ply the same size as the XTM then bolted through into the steel brackets underneath. I run a battery, & travel buddy total 45kgs on top of that. Been there for over 4yrs now. No damage or bending at all.
Yeah that’s good. I had one buckle with the fridge on top but got it replaced under warranty but ever since all good
im currently using the DCMont 100amp charge controller. so far no issues either. i have had trouble setting up on my behalf i contacted them and they did reply with information to help. yeh so far so good.
Yeah that’s good. I’m looking at getting a better charger for my caravan so I might check that out.
Great video mate, literally scrolling around eBay looking at all those other brands thinking they look cheap as. Then came across this DCMont, i reckon I may end up grabbing one.
Yeah there not bad I thought
