pehle implement karo jo regulations pehle aya tha.. bas naya regulations banaye jate ho apne man marji ke...nonsense hai kya.... actually ugc needs some changes or new regulation on its own.. direct exam kyu nahi karwa sakte assistant prof selection ke lie jaise upsc hota hai...ye nonsence api system pe atke ho avi vi... ugc should change ang give theri responsibilities in higher education to som other body like upsc....

Since 2022, Tumkur University in Karnataka is offering mid-day meal program to its students, teaching, and non teaching staff. TU became the first university in India, to provide mid-day meals that too for just ₹5/meal. It was funded by several good people including our teachers and some religious bodies. It all happend because of our VC, who came up from very poor background and especially because of the hunger he experienced as a student. The so called new draft by UGC are just done to tarnish this democratic ecosystem into a corporate one. Why AP posts are opened to other degree holders who have not completed UG/PG in same subject? You think it will result in the multidisciplinary functioning of higher education!!??? What a joke of a chairman!! Shame Shame

Hi Sir, Good morning. I have reviewed the draft regulations in the document regarding the requirement for eight years of teaching and/or research experience for the position of Associate Professor. While the earlier regulation, which allowed for a PhD with two years of experience for an Associate Professor, seemed appropriate, I have concerns about the new provision in the draft requiring eight years of teaching and research experience. In the context of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) faculty, it is challenging to meet this requirement, especially when many engineering colleges prioritize candidates with both a PhD and industry experience. The combination of a PhD and industry experience is critical because it equips faculty members with real-time practical knowledge that significantly enhances their teaching and research capabilities. As many colleges prefer industry professionals with a PhD, I believe the emphasis on purely academic teaching and research experience for the Associate Professor position may overlook the value of industry exposure. It is important to recognize that the industry itself is actively encouraging and offering PhDs to its professionals, thereby enhancing their expertise. However, once industry professionals complete their PhD, it becomes difficult for them to gain the requisite academic experience without shifting into an academic environment. Therefore, the requirement for purely academic experience without considering the industry's contribution to research and teaching might not be the most effective approach. I request that UGC reconsider the regulation and allow more flexibility for candidates with industry experience, as this would align with the real-world demands of engineering education and research. Dear Respected sir/Madam Please Don't remove UGC- NET ..it's the minimum qualification to appointment of Assistant Professor in higher education. Professor of Practice you can add one more Test take their Visiting Assistant Professor.. Please Don't Destroy the quality of higher education only for 10percent.. Already our in running based 80/20 strategy

What about physical education,is it counted as professional program?

For associate professor remove the industry experience , how can mange the CSE faculty for industry experience..this is not good

And what about if we have Ph.D in Non-Professional Course as in MA English , do we need NET?

प्रणाम सर 🙏 मेरा सुझाव है कि असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर बनने के लिए मिनिमम क्वालिफिकेशन नेट+ पीएचडी होनी चाहिए । क्योंकि पीएचडी की डिग्री लोग अपने सोर्स और पैरवी से आसानी से प्राप्त कर लेते है लेकिन यूजीसी का एग्जाम निकालना सब की बस की बात नहीं है। इससे क्वालिटी एजुकेशन में एक गुणवत्ता आयेगी और सही लोगों की नियुक्ति होगी । स्टेट यूनिवर्सिटी से पीएचडी करने और करवाने वाले लोगों को देखकर हम अपनी सुझाव दे रहा हूं।

UGC के नियम 2025 में सुधार की आवश्यकता - 1. Ugc के नए नियम 2025 में एक तरफ तो 8 सब्जेक्ट yog, music, performing art,visual art, sculpture ....etc में Assistant professor पद के लिए UGC net/set परीक्षा अनिवार्य किया गया है । 2. वहीं इन्हीं 8 सब्जेक्ट में योग , संगीत, मूर्तिकला...आदि विषय में सिर्फ ug degree और 5 वर्ष का अनुभव एवं स्टेट या नेशनल स्तर का अवॉर्ड होना चाहिए। अतः ये जो नियम बना है इसमें शहर के गली, मोहल्लों में कुकुरमुत्ते की तरह संगीत विद्यालय खुले हुए हैं, उनमें सिखाने वाले लोग इस तरह के नियम के द्वारा महाविद्यालय और विश्वविद्यालय में assisatant professor बनाए जा सकेंगे। Ugc की यह कोशिश उन मेधावी छात्रों के ऊपर एक कुठाराघात से कम नहीं है , जिन्होंने ugc net और phd की हुई है । अतः इस विशेषज्ञता ( BA पास) वाले इस नियम को इस मसौदे से हटाया जाए । क्योंकि इसी नियम के चलते असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर के सलेक्शन में net परीक्षा पास और phd धारकों के साथ अन्याय होगा। ऐसा लगता है कि BA पास विशेषज्ञों की भर्ती का यह नियम UGC ने इसी लिए बनाया है कि जिसके चलते सलेक्शन कमेटी अपने चहेते लोगों (BA pass विशेषज्ञ) का सलेक्शन कर सके .. अतः इस नियम को तत्काल हटा देना चाहिए। BA पास विशेषज्ञों की भर्ती, एक तरह से लैटरल एंट्री की याद दिलाते हैं। यह जो 8 विषय हैं जर्नलिस्म, योग, मूर्तिकला, संगीत.... इत्यादि यह ऐसे विलक्षण क्षेत्र हैं जिनमें UG degree और मात्र 5 साल का अनुभव ले लेने से कोई विशेषज्ञ नहीं बन सकता है । यह नियम सिर्फ धांधली से होने वाली भर्ती की तरफ इशारा करता है । कृपया इस नियम को तत्काल हटाया जाए ।

Thankful to you sir but NET is mandatory for the recruitment for the assistant professor under Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi, Jharkhand. I have applied for the position of assistant professor based on the qualification criteria M. Tech in Dairy Technology but disqualified by the recruitment cell which mentioned that NET is compulsory in the adverisement under Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi, Jharkhand. Please resolve this issue with the University. @UGC_India
