This video is about when your Ceramic Coating is clogged on the paint by all the dirt. This gives you much less beading and sheeting. Some people then think that your coating is dead. Here I show the steps how to make it like new again and that the coating comes back to life super beading and water sheeting. The most important use a high pH value Pre Wash Alkaline product. Then you can use a product with a low pH value acid, this ensures that the lime particles are broken down. You can also try water spot remover. And CarPro Iron x also works well, then possibly Carpro Tar X. There are different methods to do this.

Hello thanks, Sonax Perfect Finish is a perfect One step for new car paints that are not that badly damaged. Removes scratches up to p2000. Menzerna Cut Force Pro Speed ​​for when the paint is a bit more serious. Removes scratches incl p2000. Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400 removes up to p1200. Sonax Profiline Excut 05-05 is my new One Step removes scratches up to p1500 and has a very nice shine so I choose this one, while they are all very good.

@@waxkingcardetailing I figured it out by watching a few videos. It worked well. At first there was some rough texture sound on the hood and trunk but it smoothed out after a few rubs. Then I put on ceramic.

No I only used a yellow Rupes foam pad which was enough. And gave a very neat finish.

Yes Beadmaker is still a super good product. I use it as a drying aid and it works perfectly. Also the smell is very pleasant and it gives mega shine.

Hello, soft paint is indeed difficult to polish. I usually make sure that I don't use too much pressure, and not too high a speed so that I don't get that sticky paint. If you have that, you can also put more compound on your pad and then another pass. You can also use softer polishing pads.

Menzerna Pro Cut removes scratches from P2000 grain size and sanding scratches. Think it works well, you can always with a microfiber disk of rupes or meguiars. You can also try Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400 that is doing well that can until P1200

Yes that is a good question. No do not use Eraser or something between the coatings because then you have a chance that they can not bond well. So just use a good microfiber cloth to remove the dust for example. Usually it is better to apply the two coatings at the same time after each other the 2nd layer after 2 hours.

I don't recall this issue brought up anywhere in the dozens of videos I've watched in regards to the application process. Thank you so very much, will do as suggested. Just going to use a new dry microfiber towel to lightly dust off panels prior to applying EXO V5. Enjoyed your videos by the way. 😊

Yes that's right. You have three steps with this product in 1 actually. Heavy Cut, Medium Cut, and a Finish. This is a good 1 step polish that you can use with different pads. But with the heavy cut pad the red you are good quickly.

This is not a comparison video. I use these 2 products for polishing. Menzerna removes more scratches but is less clear, which can also be seen in the video. Sonax removes less scratches but is much clearer. You can also use Menzerna and for even better post-processing with Sonax.

Yes this will definitely affect your wax layer or sealant because it is an Alkaline product. It can definitely give less protection. pH value is 12.5

It will affect waxes as they are oil-based. Sealent can handle the Gs better. Cera coatings can handle the Gs with ease. Grtz

For Koch Chemie Green Star you need the Alkaline version because it is an Alkaline product so the blue variant. The black variant is for acid resistant. In this video I use the acid variant, it doesn't really matter as long as you rinse them well with warm water after each use.

That's why I understand the second step you want for the most beautiful finishing polish. My answer is simple what I would do with a DA Polisher. Sonax Perfect Finish with a Yellow Rupes Foam Pad and you will be amazed how much clarity you get in the paint.

@@charlied7886 The Menzerna Super Finish 3500 is also very good for the final step. Sonax Perfect Finish has even more cut. This is more of a one-step polish with a very high gloss level and is low-dust and silicone-free cut 4 gloss 6

@@waxkingcardetailing Thanks much, brother. After your recommendation, I checked a number of different sites & everyone seems to love it. There's roughly 70 total square feet of painted surfaces on the car itself & a number of online sites recommend using 3-4 pads (ie. a total of 6-8 total) for each cut done during the correction & polish. Do I really need that many pads or is this advice just bullshit to sell more product? Thanks again & I assure you this is my last question for you.

@@charlied7886 I find 4 pads sufficient. You can even do the whole car with 1 pad unless you also clean it well after each part of the car. 4 to 6 pads is more for mobile detailers for speed so you can go through in 1 go without cleaning your pads all the time.
