You are anchoring the focal point for the still and in the video we naturally track the motion so we focus on the landing which is significantly higher than the take off in the frame. So it makes you look higher in contrast

Cause the video you see yourself lower the majority of the time. A picture you see yourself at the peak the entire time. More time to process.
