Dis graceful effort by Korg as Usual....the "Manual" tells you nothing....and their Video promises to give you "the basics"...and then delivers this trash. The moron who did it pushes buttons and tells you nothing about what to do or how to do it. Its contemptible really.

You watch videos and you think all right this is cool. I’m gonna get it and then when you get it, you realize it’s the absolute biggest pain in the ass to try and learn super frustrating. Manual is horrible.

While I really appreciate the time and effort put into these videos, I can read MUCH faster than I can listen to a video and would prefer a written pdf transcript of the same content.

Korg has to fix the SQ64 USB ext Midi rec, not working. Sonoma unsupported. Ext clock display fixed at own internal. No Mod options for CCs and only one per track/sub-tracks. The SQ64 Modulations needs to cover Midiloop ext rec fixed. Bastl Midiloop, Midiphy Loopa V4, Squarp Pyramid, Hermod+, Novation Beatstep. All of them has ext midi rec, with multiple modulations options such as ENV syncing, LFO mixing, and limitless for CCs and Korg can not make a single update to address this issue, nor ANYONE single VIDEO showing it is possible. Whilst ALL of the above, has videos showing how easy it is. From a DAW one needs to choose SQ64-SEQ over SQ64 Midi in, Usb ext clock, Midi notes are passed through, but nothing get recorder... Where are you Korg devs??? Please!!! Before we start mass replacing it with smth that works... fix it!!! Btw, tnx for Sync divisions, it works BEAUTIFULLY! (It's not all bad)

I just bought the drumlogue. I am trying to make it the master clock, opsix wavestate as slave. When i have all the midi connections set up. The drumlogue is trigggering notes in opsix and wavestate. I just want it tempo sync stop start. I do not want it to trigger notes. I reversed the set up to make drumlogue the slave and i am also getting notes trigger. Any idea how i can stop the notes from triggering?

What are the preferences to actually connect with abelton? I am getting no midi output from the sq 64

I don't know any Japanese but I followed the instructions thoroughly. Music crosses all boundaries.

After I record a drum track on channel d of korg sq-64 when i switch to channel a to jam along, the synth sound is not heard. I only get both channels when in active record mode which doesn’t allow me to create a part ahead of time.

Being a newbie to synths could you tell me how to change midi channels for the b and c channels on the sq-64. The Global menu is quite extensive and not sure how to change the basic midi number. I’ve got an NTS-1 connected to channel A which works fine but get no sound when playing through the b snd c channels. Thanks.

I sent a message to Korg about how unclear there manual was and they sent me back a typed summery of the manual 😂

I followed this video, without a DAW. It is connected to a synth. I can play the synth thru midi with the SQ-64, but the PARAM4 knob does not change octaves, and pressing play doesn't play anything after I follow the instructions to make a phraase.

If you want to see text describing what he is doing, turn on Close Caption in UA-cam. It is the button marked CC at the bottom of the UA-cam screen. If you want the video to play slower, open up the UA-cam setting (gear shaped button) and set playback speed to 0.75, 0.5, or 0.25

It sure would be nice if someone made a video on the SQ-64 for noobs. Every video I've seen so far either blitzes through the material as if the viewer is already familiar with the system, or is like this video here with no what/where/why to it.

Is it posible to play the sequence and hear the midi while you play the keyboard? It only works when I press record or when the sequence is not playing. Hopefully I will master this thing. Weirdly enough I have a great understanding of midi but somehow I can't get it to work the way I want it

Hola tengo mi korg opsix pero no lee los presets ni se puede utlizar .. directo al ableton simplemente no lee el programa software de la computadora via interface ya probe varios cables y los cables estan bien interface.. solo funciona en los presets del mismo sintetizador ??
